The GRE and GMAT are two of most used graduate exams for those seeking to study a Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Graduate Record Exam and Graduate Management Admissions Test have been taken for over 50 years and are taken by approximately 600,000 and 300,000 people worldwide annually, respectively. I scored 300/340. I know it isn't a great score and messed up because of the time constraints and my inability to focus. Nevertheless, many thanks to you for helping me learn how to do maths easily and improve my vocabulary. I love your videos and have learnt so much. I'll continue to watch your channel 🥰

Thanks for creating such helpful content for students like me. I have a concern, I saw some test takers say that the quant section is getting difficult and they're harder than some practice books like Manhattan 5lb. Is it true? If yes, how should we prepare?

Super helpful! I have been learning so much from all your videos. Do you have one that is about how to find the number of integers between x and y that are multiples of z? Thank you so much!

Hey, Philip! Great video, as always! But in the last question, shouldn't we first convert 50m to 5000 cm, and then cube it? And if not, could you PLEASE tell why?
@omar9054
@omar9054 8 месяцев назад
You wouldnt do that because it isn't 50m, its 50m^3. You need to get things in to equivalent units. Hence why he says to square/cube everything first, then the calculation is straightforward. First you cube the conversion factor (1m = 100cm ===> 1m^3 = 1,000,000 cm^3) so that it is in like terms. Second, you apply the conversation factor. (50 * 1m^3 = 50 * 1,000,000 cm^3 ===> 50m^3 = 50,000,000 cm^3)

Can you please tell me how you got “square inches” after multiplying 60x60?
@khushboomehta8611

5ft = 5× 12 = 60 inches. We had 5ft by 5ft so 60×60

The first question says nearest pound. Is 9.9 when rounded up equal to 10?.
@DavidKirlew

I thought the same
@omar9054

You are applying the phrase of the nearest pound incorrectly. The question is stating that the *conversion* rate *was* done to the nearest pound. Not to compare the quantities to the nearest pound. 78 kg is rounded to 172 lbs. 78 kgs more precisely is 171.9605645042... lbs

Why can't it be 5000 x 5000 x 5000cm to calculate 50m3?
@DavidKirlew
@DavidKirlew 10 месяцев назад
The concept is to get like terms, the conversion was provided as m to cm. And the answers were provided in m3 and cm3. Thus turn your conversion into like terms. Then convert before multiplying similar to the prior question.
