I just converted my 14 inch and 16 inch hanging tom-toms to floor toms using this gear. I could not be happier! The hardware is solid, and actually, looks great, like it was supposed to be there , as if original from the factory. If you are thinking of getting this do not hesitate!

I’ve been looking at the WorldMax 14” converter kit because my pdp suspended tom is also mounted on the ride cymbal stand. The combination of the larger drum and biggest cymbal means any adjustment of that combo is not easy at the last minute. Introducing a floor tom fix means lifting the drum and the stand can be done freely and adjusted without worrying that the balance and feet placing will affect your playing ergonomics or damage your kit.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm so happy someone makes this. I hate having heavy suspended floor toms hanging off stands and those little mounting arms. I love how it sounds yeah. But there is no reason this shouldn't sound just as good right? It's still suspended and has an isolation grommet. I'm going to get a 14" and 16". I also have porkpie so I'm glad too see you also using this on a porkpie.

So I did end up buying it. I got the 14 and 16 mounts. Got them installed today. I love them! It's soooo much nicer now. They are way more stable, no more stands, and they actually sound better since it sits on the bottom lugs instead of the heads.

Do you have to get used a wider than average space between the two floor Tom’s? This would occur due to the cradle being wide right?

Does the worldmax only come in 14 and 16" sizes? I have a rack tom which I would like to be mounted on legs rather than a cymbal stand with a mount however its a 12" rack tom, is there a way to do this without drilled new lugs into the shell?

Do these have a memory lock on them? Looking into these, but would like to be able to take on/off without having to readjust the tilt every time.

Was curious if this would affect my ability to use my Humes and Berg drum bags. Would the drum fit the standard sizes with the added leg mount?

Too bad Worldmax doesn't make these for 10 lugs. I'm converting a marching snare into a "snom"/auxiliary snare, and because they don't make these for 10 lugs... I need to drill floor tom leg supports into the shell :-(

Is it possible to make a floor Tom from a 13x10 Tom or it isn't deep enough? It's for practice and use less space.

9.5mm legs and they also make 18" floor tom too model.

@@mattberm1 no I couldn't find anything. I'm thinking of drilling into my floor tom, it's not ideal but the only option I can find

@@mattbarron4631 I made a non drilling workaround, bought 3 universal Tom mounts and legs to make it a Frankenstein floor tom. Quite pleased with the results.
