Dont know any "all you can eat" like this with gui. But you can use converseen for images and soundconverter for sounds. For cli, imagemagick and ffmpeg

I've been using Any Video Converter, but this one takes the cake. No more opening software or a site then drag n drop. Pretty much done in a right click. Probably don't have more detailed options on the go, but this is more than enough.

terrible software everytime i attempt to change the settings they just return back to whatever they were to start with...even when presented with options they do nothing but revert back to the original ...not for me

Not particularly useful for me. If it could convert to JPEG XL losslessly from JPEG and PNG I would use it. Also converting to Opus would be nice. Well this was timely! Just yesterday I did a lot of searching for a non-scammy file converter to convert an MP4 into a gif. Didn't really want to use a web converter like giphy where you have to set up an account to do one conversion (but BTW cloud convert seems to be the most straightforward one out there) or to spend half a day fiddling with ffmpeg options to get just the right incantation. This is perfect and all nicely wrapped up! If only the algorithm gave this to me yesterday 😂😂

I just want to remind you all, the WebP and WebM engine of this tool is not updated as of Google Documentation. The Google Dev page allows newer and more parameters for the WebP and WebM. (I mean converting any image to WebP, not the other way around) Which is useful for ultra-fast responsive website or blog if you're WebMaster

To convert MS Office formats you need to own MS Office. Wow, how not convenient is that. When people send me a DOCX file I need to convert it to something else because I DON'T HAVE OFFICE.
I have a bunch of music playlists that I saved using VLC player. I didn't pay attention and accidentally saved the files as an XSPF format ?! Making them unplayable. What the heck is XSPF anyway? I can't figure out how to convert those music files from XSPF to MP3 or other format to make them playable again smh..Can someone direct me on how to do this? The file converter mentioned here won't work I checked already.
oh i tried using this like a month ago to convert mkv videos to mp4, except i had to convert a lot of videos so it would’ve taken hours, so i ended up just learning how to use a new video editing software instead
Just a heads-up, this is merely a file uploader to their servers, and even if you trust them to not copy and exploit your files, you still should be aware of the fact that you only have 25 conversions a day, or 50MB's uploaded, in total. Information Chris *conveniently forgot* to mention..... Just one of those cases where it sounded too good to be true.
I think its not the same program, when you download from the web shown in the video you download zamzar, but if you download from the pinned comment is a entirely different aplication thats installed with .msi and not .exe and its called FileConverter, i guess zamzar bought the domain, created a fake web with his product and they needed to move or something
When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. This program doesn't support converting animated webp files to animated gifs. It will only convert webm to animated gifs. It would be nice if the creator would provide conversions from webp animated files. I have been able to convert other supported files with no problems.

@Chris Titus Tech are firewalls an important step for privacy these days, or will it be covered by my Pihole setup? If a firewall is needed (above windows firewall) what are your recommendations these days? I saw your old Simplewall video, but I also saw a video on Portmaster which is apparently an open source simple firewall? But I have no idea how to read code to see if it's any good. Would love an updated privacy video please.
PiHole only blocks DNS queries you make from predefined lists that need to stay up-to-date to be effective. A firewall filters all Internet traffic on the network you're on. So no, PiHole alone is not enough. If you aren't using some sort of firewall on ANY device connected to the Internet, you are absolutely at risk. If you have a router, you likely already have a hardware firewall. Windows firewall can be looked at as an extra security layer, but in most cases, it's unnecessary bloat if you are already behind an aforementioned fireware, such as your router. Hope this helps!

My router is just a piece of crap from my ISP as they have my service locked down that you can't use your home phone if you use a 3rd party router. That means I don't trust anything on the router.
