Today, there are many Jews who don’t know they are Jewish and many Jews who may or may not learn that they are not Jewish. It’s important to note we have people who request to convert who have Jewish DNA and many people, including myself believe these people may be returning souls. When we read the Book of Ruth, we find s woman who knew absolutely nothing about Jewish laws, but what she did know was her heartfelt feelings and devotion to Naomi. Had we turned Ruth away, we would not have Tehillim, the first book of the Ketuvim, the third section of the Tanakh. A Gud Gabenched Yur.
I would be one of those. I converted 16 years ago and last year found out that my moms maternal line were Jewish (and her granddad.) it was hidden b/c perhaps of where they lived.
I've considered the test. My mother was wrecked mentally and looked Jewish. My name is from the Tanakh. A Jewish friends mother once claimed then demanded I'm Jewish, I was a teen and just said "huh?". Now I'm thinking "whoaaaaaa, would explain so much".
This Rabbi is not only honest ,but also realistic. A person can choose to be a Jew ( observing all the commandments) , or can choose to be an “associate” of the Jews ( learning and observing) .Very practical and realistic.
That's all fine & dandy if you are already a Jew. Otherwise, even converting won't spare you from being subject to the sword of the Noahide Laws. If you're already Jewish & Torah-abiding, you can do nothing wrong. Never will you be subject to the sword.

@@lfair7985 What are you talking about? The Noahide laws are a subset of the commandments the Jews have to follow. So if you convert and follow the Jewish commandments, you're automatically abiding by the Noahide laws. There is no sword.

It is given the name Noahide because Noah is the father of the non Jewish nations, and he was a righteous man. We find the Noahide laws in Genesis 2:16, 2:24 and 9:3-6. As a convert that did so via askenazi, I didn’t “feel” those min chag, or halachot didn’t fit me for some reason and chose Sephardim. I studied and agreed with Maimonides over European customs. Only a decade and half later did I find out moms maternal lineage was Sephardic. Perhaps HaShem sent my sound back to “fix” something I didn’t do previously and my should was always Sephardi. Who knows. But I get and got allot of flak for using a different siddur and customs.
Not "fitting in" to your local community should not be a reason for NOT converting. What difference does it make what anyone thinks? It f you are converting to please G_d, everyone else does not matter.
Some communities actively try to push out and disrespect the would-be convert. You don't only take on a belief; you join a people. Most communities are led by good people, but there are bad eggs in every nest. If a non-Jew has no access to another community and their local one won't accept them, they have no choice in the matter.

Isn't being a Noahide like being a little pregnant? It seems to be an acceptable way to catch your breath especially after leaving the circus of Christianity. However, once you've caught your breath, a natural progression would be to convert to Judaism. Unfortunately, too many rabbi's hide behind their prejudice and indifference while giving nice sounding Noahide lectures. It's insulting to the potential convert hearing nonsense like, "You don't have to convert to Judaism to have a share in the world to come" or "who would want to take on the enormous amount of mitzvot? Tried to be accepted and lived the Jewish life exclusively, two 2 yrs. The freeze out by the congregation was so painfully obvious. They simply do not want non Jews at the table. Period. 5. I still live a jewish life. I observe the shabott, i keep the high holy days but i do it in sloppy way, since i am never with a jew to be taught lessons, for the home law. I keep the schema and love it. 6. Being a Noahide is just as bad as was a chioce for trying to be Jewish, since, in a city of 110, ooo ppl, i know of no other Noahides. None. Thank you for this teaching, being a Noahide has been a blessing to me, when I left the church I had no idea what a Noahide was, in fact, I didn't really know of an alternative, apart from Judaism, I was old in age when I left the Church, the reason was replacement theology, if G-d would turn away from the Jews, he could well turn against xtians, for about 2 years I followed the Messianic group, but that also was downgrading the Jews, so when I found Noahides the whole thing made sense, If I were 20 years younger I would have converted, I have found so many teaching, which I can follow, such as Jews for Judaism, Rabbi Singer, Spiritual Babies, the list goes on. Please, there are many people like me senior in age, who are not happy in the church. and need the Noahide movement, because they think they don't have anywhere to go, so they are sticking with idolatry.

I have a strong academic interest, and already feel like an outcast in my own pagan culture, ready to adapt to anything I see fitting, because I don't see myself quite fitting into any group I've been in in my country. I identify with what is being said. I often feel like a stateless person everywhere I go. It is an even more complicated situation for me in my position. Let me try to explain why I also have to respectfully disagree with the Rabbi as well as why I think why creating a separate "Noachide" group is not going to work out: 1. The Rabbi seems to imply that the people who want to become part of the Jewish people, because the Jewish people aren't doing the right thing when it comes to convert. The convert may find that they don't fit in and feel lonely as a result. However, not joining the Jewish people isn't going to make the convert feel less lonely - I can say this from personal experience. It is true that a convert is most likely aware of the fact that Jews are commanded to love the stranger in their midst and to judge them as one of their own; but if they truly want to accept and adhere to all the mitzvoth, they have to deal with this problem as it is not possible to keep the mitzvoth on your own. If a convert truly has the Jewish spark engraved in their heart, they will find a way to correct the Jews in this respect and they will succeed as Ha Shem is on their side, as it is written in the texts of the Torah. 2. When quoting the words of the Jewish sages, one must be mindful of the historical background in which these statements were made. It is my understanding that the sole purpose of the Jewish literary tradition was to preserve historical background in which the Torah was given on Mount Sinai. The Rabbi appears to hold the view that keeping the mitzvoth because you understand their meaning and purpose is not the same thing as keeping them, because G-d said so and you want to please Him. I think that quoting the RAMBAM to support this idea is inappropriate, as I'm pretty sure that he considered the two things to be one and the same. 3. The Rabbi also stated that all non-Jews must be assumed to be violating the seven Noachide laws, but this is not in line with the Jewish tradition of judging people favorably. This assumption may actually be the reason why Jews don't fulfil the mitzvah of loving the convert as the Rabbi stated. I think the correct assumption here must be that all non-Jews adhere to the 7 mitzvoth of Noach and the Jews likewise must be assumed to stick with the 613 mitzvoth of the Jewish people, unless there is proof of the opposite. People must never be presumed to be guilty proven innocent, at least not in front of a Beit Din. 4. I'm no Rabbi and I'm still learning Hebrew, but it seems to me that "ger toshav" refers to the non-Jewish friends of the Jews, while "ger tsedek" refers to a person who genuinely wants to become part of the Jewish people and keep the mitzvoth. In my humble opinion, the former must be expected to adhere to the seven mitzvoth of Noach in Jewish courts, unless they have explicitly stated that they want to abide by the 613 mitzvoth. As far as the Jewish people are concerned, this must a matter of what to expect from a ger, the rest is between them and Ha Shem. 5. There is a contradiction in the quoted statements of the RAMBAM that needs further clarification - he said that people who understand the Torah are "the wise among the nations". At the same time he also stated that the gentiles should not be allowed to have religious doctrines of their own. How come the "wise among the nations" drew conclusions about the mitzvoth on their own, when only Jews should be entitled to doing this? Perhaps, the RAMBAM believed that the wise people among the nations will eventually become part of the Jewish people and that why he made such seemingly conflicting statements. I think this is required for the redemption to take place and here's a reason why: 5. There were several attempts in Jewish history to disseminate the seven Noachide laws and other Jewish ideas among the broader gentile world and they all ended up spiraling out of the hands of the Jews and turning against them. Christianity, Islam, Communism and Hollywood are some of the more notable examples of this phenomenon. Why create another "Noachide" movement for gentiles when you already have social structures doing this. As long as there are "wise people among the nations", and aren't accepted as part of the Jewish people, chances are that history will repeat itself with this new "Noachide" movement. 6. The Chumash includes three stories about covenants and each time Ha Shem makes a promise; then outlines a request and sets up a sign of the covenant: * Covenant of Noach - Ha Shem promised to not destroy mankind with flood again; and to make Noach a master of all creatures on earth, allowing him to use them as food. Then He requested from him to be fruitful and multiply; gave him the seven mitzvoth; and set up the rainbow as a sign of the covenant. * Covenant of Abraham - Ha Shem promised numerous progeny in the land of Israel; then He requested that he spreads the concept of monotheism to the world and set up circumcision as the sign of the covenant. * Covenant of the Israeli children - Ha Shem promised to redeem them from slavery; take them to a land of milk and honey; and to make them a holy nation; then he gave them the 613 mitzvoth and gave them Shabat as a sign of the covenant. Three covenants covenants - three different levels of commitment and three different outcomes in the Torah - should the non-Jews be Noachides; or members of an Abrahamic faith; or Jews - it's up to them to decide. 7. In Sanhedrin 59a, the Talmud states that a non-Jew who pursues Torah study is effectively robbing and raping the Jewish people, but it also states that he must be treated like a Kohen Gadol. That's a very dangerous activity!!! When the two sons of Aaron Nadav and Avihu brought their own fire to the altar, they burned out and died childless. I think that's the greatest risk for non-Jews who engage in Torah studies - they die childless. Impressing a non-Jewish woman with knowledge and understanding of Jewish wisdom just doesn't work, not to mention teaching it to your children. The non-Jews who are interested in Torah studies must join the Jewish people - that's what the sages meant, when they said that a gentile who studies Torah is like a Kohen Gadol. If converts are robbing the Jews from their tradition by studying it, then the Jews deserve to get back what's rightfully theirs by accepting the convert. 8. Teaching the Torah to your children is in my view the best way to protect them from the traps of the modern world. The reason for this is because the Torah never changes it has the ethical and moral values engraved in it. It is a solid framework of practices and eternal truths with an exceptionally long track record of successfully withstanding the test of time. I'm not sure if my children would want to keep it, but I do want to make sure that they know it all by age 13, so when they become 14 and start going out with their friends, I will be calm that they have a moral compass and will be able to make an informed decision to regardless of what strange situation they find themselves in. If I want to teach Judaism to my children, then I must be Jewish, I don't see any other way for this to work. 9. If some day Ha Shem smiles at me and blesses me with children I would not want to teach them the Torah like this: "Here's what I think is the right thing to do to be a decent human being and have a meaningful life, but I'm not actually doing it, because there's a short cut through the Noachide laws. You're friends aren't doing it either, because we're not part of the Jewish people and there's no Jews in our neighborhood, but if you do meet a Jew some day, he might actually be someone who keeps the mitzvoth." This is not the kind of Torah that I want to teach to my children and I don't think you should have children if you don't want the best for them. I don't want to raise children only to end up cursing them as they rape and castrate me when they see me naked. Not getting drunk and showing up naked in front of your children is also a nice thing do. 10. I think that today is exactly the right time for Jews to shine in front of the nations. The Internet makes information is more accessible than ever and people who seek the truth will sooner or later find the what they're looking for. People who struggle in finding the correct work-life balance; to add a form of order in their life; who feel the need to belong and contribute to something bigger than them - these people will eventually come by the tens and grab a Jew demanding to follow them according to Zacharia's vision. And the coming of the Moshiach will actually depend on how the Jews will treat their converts. There's a fine difference between David ha-Melech and Amalek it's is exactly 131 - the numerical value of Elimelech - the person who brought Ruth to the Jewish people. Not the name of David's biological father, that of Naomi or the Beit Din who converted her, but the person who introduced Ruth to Judaism - his name is what the difference between David ha-Malek and Amalek and his name will never be blotted out.
Wow I am impressed, These are very good notes you wrote, And yes I read it all. Could not agree with you more on 7-10, altough in earlier points where Rambam view was mentioned , there seem to be a slight misunderstanding in his view. A great Rabbi once said the Rambam should not be excused rather understand! This is done by reading and learning ALL of his primary books. Rambam books should be acquired in an authentic version, not to mention translations. These makes it a not so easy task especially for someone from abroad..
Thanks, John. I'm glad that my effort of writing it was not in vain. And you're probably right about Rambam.. Translations always reflect the view of the translator, especially when we're talking about translation from a Semitic to an Indo-European language - the two language groups have a radically different root system and a whole network of word associations goes out the window, when using translations. It is my theory that one of the biggest mistakes, the Jews ever did was translating the names of Ha Kadosh Barochu using the Greek word for G-d. This was wrong because the Hebrew concept is radically different from the Greek idea of G-d, and from the Greek translation you get all other distorted translations of the Bible, which have been the cause for so many problems for the Jewish people. Take the word "ruach" as another example - it translates as both wind and spirit. Someone had to decide which word to use when writing the translation of the texts of the Torah. In most cases both translations make sense, but the meaning is radically different if you use wind or spirit in the sentence. Ultimately, the word that's supposed to be there in the sentence is neither wind, nor spirit, nor breath - it is "ruach", meaning all of these things at the same time, but none of them alone. I understand this, because there's a Bulgarian equivalent for this word "ruach", but there's certainly plenty of other things I don't understand, as the meaning gets lost in the translation. But even with all these mistranslated and distortions, one can still see the profound wisdom and eternal truths found in the teachings of the Jewish sages. That's why I'm determined to learn Hebrew, followed by Aramaic and possibly Judeo-Arabic for the works of the Rambam, whose intellectual genius was at least a millennium ahead of his time and the amount of brilliant works he produced is phenomenal anit really moves me, despite the distortions. Thanks again for warm words and for taking the time to read all of this. Hopefully, some day I'll have the knowledge and the connections I need to pay Israel a visit and learn from the authentic sources.
Very good example with the word Ruach, indeed there are many others. You may be surprised to know that also born and bred hebrew native Israelis have biblical text understanding difficulties. I knew my father is a German Ashkenazi Jew. A few years ago I researched my mother’s lineage and discovered that she is Sefardí from Spain. What ????? What kind of excuse is that ????? Your mother is Jewish ? You are Jewish then. You are OBLIGATED to keep the 613 commandments. There are only about 200 practical today because there is no tabernacle or Holy Temple. You dont have a choice. Keep those 200 asap. Start by keeping Shabbat. You are as Jewish as any other jew and you are proven wrong that you have to start at an early age. Plenty of people start at a late age. We even have our famous rabbi akivah who began learning at age 40 and became one of our greatest ever sages. It wouldn't matter if you were 80 you go one step at a time. Take on 1 mitzvah at a time. No one would say you instantly follow everything
In Germany, it is easier to convert than being a Noachide, because, if one converts, you know exactly what is expected of you. You learn a lot, actially, you learn a whole lifetime, you are never done learning. But at least, you have community and Rabbis who can give advice. As a Noachide, you are 100% on your own, because there is no rabbinical structure or any group or support for Noachides. Germany is a Noachidic nomansland.
I have to respectfully disagree with the rabbi on this issue. In short the rabbi says the following: 'Many non-Jews want to convert but the Jewish community is often too close minded, unlearned and outright hostile to accept converts.' Then the rabbi notes that the 7 Noahide laws are not really a fulfilling alternative to Judaism because of lack of community structure and lack of any proactive way to improve ones conduct, life and the world at large, they are only negatives. To this the rabbi responds by saying: 'Instead of getting our act together as Jews and educating Jews about the importance of loving the convert, equality of the convert etc, let's make up a new alternative religion for them which is not sanctioned by Torah or by the sages.' The reason that the Rambam z''l says that we do not allow non-Jews to make up their own religion is not to say that Jews are allowed to make up their own religion but it was totally superfluous to say since Torah-obsevant Jews would never do such a thing.
Well in this regard it could be referred to Hilchot Melachim 10 : 10 "We should not prevent a gentile who desires to perform one of the Torah's mitzvot in order to receive reward from doing so, provided he performs it as required." Gentile in the meaning here as Ben Noah or Ger toschav as explained by the Rav in the video here. I'd say this is the kind of framework. And there are already jewish initiatives for benei noach active. I am happy for the words of the Rav.

If I understood well (I am a Noahide), Noahides have a different, but very important role, commanded by Hashem. The purpose of the Jewish people is mainly spiritual (be a light to the world, a nation of priests). Noahides, on the other hand, have a role more focused in making this physical world a better place, according to their commandments, given by Hashem. The commandment about the stranger, could be also found in : Exodus 12:49; Numbers 15:14-16 and Deut. 10:16-19. We are all His creation, and we should all keep His commandments. G-d does not have two different sets of Torah. I would say that is "man made". G-d established the Sabbath at the time he created Adam, therefore it is for all who fear Him! And the Moedim in Leviticus 23, are not the Moedim of the Yehudim! It says that they are the Moedim of the L-RD. The very first one is...the Sabbath! (Leviticus 23:1-4). I do not know where this Noahide law is, but for sure, one cannot find it in the Tanak! The children of Israel were dispersed among nations for not observing the Torah! But the L-RD is going to bring them back soon! The stick of Yehuda, will be joined with the stick of Ephraim, and they will be one, in His hand! (Ezekiel 37:15-27). Baruch Abba!
Exodus 12:49 excludes any male who is not circumcised from taking part in the passover rites. Once they are circumcised only then can they take part. G-d has not commanded the Gentiles to observe the Passover. But if they want to they must be circumcised ( conversion).
The same goes for Numbers 15 which you reference. These strangers are converts. Why else would they want to bring sacrifice or observe passover? Any time a male is circumcised it is a type of conversion. However, for those who do not want to fully convert and be circumcised, they are obligated still to follow the commands given to Noah after the flood. The rest are basic laws.

One Two Why would you assume that? The point of my question is that Jewry goes far beyond a religion, philosophy, or culture. It is a genetically unique ethnicity and strict protection against diluting that gene pool has been and still is completely essential to retain the genetic integrity of the ethnic group, and thus ensure their existence. They are one of the most ancient groups of ppl who have remarkably retained their blood line to this day, whereas most of the other ancient ethnic groups are now essentially non-existent because they eventually genetically dispersed into the larger racial/ethnic groups that we see today. This has not been the case for the Ashkenazi Jews. This is why they even have their own unique genetic diseases not seen outside their population, and also why they have many other unique features such as the highest average IQ of any racial group, as well their often uniquely Jewish appearance (trust me, once you see it, you can’t unsee it). So that’s why I made my comment, because you obviously do not understand this, otherwise it would be obvious that they don’t encourage ppl to convert for the hell of it. I’ve read two books on Jewish history, am intimately familiar with the Bible (having been raised by a pastor), intimately familiar with the Jewish texts, read books on biblical history, well educated on general history, am a neuroscience major with special interest in genetics, well read on socio-genetic anthropology, and live amongst and do business with the Jews on a daily basis for years. As a ger for over 30 years. Baruch HaShem I have always been welcomed in both American and Israeli Beit Kinesset. Called for aliyah reading of the Torah in both. But to become a ger. Besides being drawn to HaShem and the Torah. It's a major mental rewiring and rebooting from all you have learned before becoming a Jew. Its not just here's a bagel your a Jew. Very complicated subject. But I personally know some 7 Law followers who behave better in public than some converts, Jews and even Rabbis. Used properly, the 7 Laws are a recipe for world peace. People are just too lazy to implement them correctly, because they don’t want to have to look in the mirror and fix themselves. They would rather talk about their old religion or Judaism. This is the real issue. God prefers a good Noahide to a lousy convert/Jew. So why not try to be the most observant Noahide. One of the issues is that 99% are former ______s and want to replace their old religion with something new, do they are more interested in Judaism than they are in learning about what is actually expected of them. My 7 year old son knows there is a God and he knows right and wrong. I once asked him what he is naturally really good at. The thing he is best at. His answer: “I’m really good at not hurting people” We need more people like him in the world. And less fake righteousness. If you pray 3 times a day, observe the sabbath, wear a kippa... and you’re a rude jerk... I say my kid knows more Torah than you. People should get their black belt in the Noahide Code before they even dream about conversion. Some of the converts I know seem like they are dealing with some kind of mental illness. They should have mastered the 7 first!
Well said (except the judgment of converts)! Comming from a religion people seek religion. It is important to understand that being a Noahide is not a religion. I think for people who say that 7 laws are not enough, are actually saying there is no religion in the 7, no special days, no feasts.... There is certainly enough to learn to become a better person and make this world a better place for adults and children alike.

It should be better to not be too late discovering if you fit in or not... the struggle is immense I believe as well as you can have a hard time with identity crisis... by engaging in something activities that could be somehow permissible to a person on the way of conversion and living in the community not somewhere out from there where you can't truly feel and be involved in Judaism... that part that might seem afterwards overwhelming

After leaving the church some years ago, it was to Judaism I turned, as to where Hashem wanted none Jews to go, I never knew before of the Noahide community, and I am 73 years old, this message has to reach more people, the reason I left the church was because they were teaching replacement theology. that was a step that I could not accept, there have to be thousands of people going along with it because they think Christianity is their only option.

My question is, if Jewish identity was lost or given up centuries ago due to persecution and you are a descendant being called back to Torah and searching your identity being raised Catholic for generations, is the correct thing to return Jewish identity to the lineage? i understand all this discussion and i understand where it comes from. i just want to point out that the Jewish people i know personally are not fearful, wounded introverts but they are strong, intelligent, welcoming people who are very inclusive. if Ha Shem is in charge then what is to be feared from doing a mitzvah and loving your neighbor? i think all people, whether Jew or gentile, can benefit from more rabbinic teachings. The Rambam is not a philosopher but rather a very holy person and his words are G-ds words or he would not be who he is... You should rather be careful of who you listen. Many Rabbis may look righteous but many are heretics ( the likes of dror cassouto or manis friedman for ex.)

A Noahite is someone who follows the basic human commandments. These commandments are for Jews and non Jews together. So if you are a gentile that follows the basic human commandments then yes you are a noahite. If you make these commandments through Islam or Christianity or any other religion it doesn’t matter.. You rightfully put the emphasis of the Jewish people having the obligation to educate Bnei Noach and Gerei Toshav. In the eighties, in Mea Shearim there was a initiative to start doing so and setting up contacts between Rabbis and Bnei Noach. Regretfully, there never was an agreement among the rabbis on setting up the framework (bet din) for recognizing Gerei Toshav. The ministry of Interior though, makes this distinction in practice. Also the prime Minister Bennet also recognizes Christians as the best friends of Israel. One rabbi called me a ger toshav, but it never came before a bet din. Many rabbis recognize, just like you do in this video, that this lack of recognition of bnei Noach and gerei toshav is contrary to the teachings of the Rambam and the teachings of the Torah. I am glad that the politicians woke up to recognizing bnei Noach as their best friends. I have permanent residency and de facto am recognized as a ger toshav. But I live abroad, as hashem needs me to be a coach of those who have the desire to become a bnei noach. The main reason I think that a bet din is lacking, is that most Jews (and rabbis) do not differentiate between bnei Noach (and potential gerei toshav) and meshumadim. If Jews daily pray birkat haminim but do not bless bnei Noach (and potential gerei toshav) observant Jews create needless hatred against all non-Jews. By not recognizing bnei Noach and gerei toshav, sin'at chinam against these will continue. And we know why the sages said that the second Temple was destroyed: Sin'at Chinam! Regretfully many Jews do not recognize their friends. My experience is: the more observant a Jew is, the less he will recognize who are the friends of the Jewish people. Machon Shiloh is in the position of setting up a bet din. I call on you to do so. I have tried in the past to call on rabbis to set up an institute for Bnei Noach, but the hatred they had against Christians prevented them to do so. Francis Marcel I do not know Hebrew so I had to look up these terms. However my question is, if someone is Gerei Toshav can they attend synagogue for a majority of the teachings held? Can they attend synagogue and continue in their study of Torah/judaism by attending synagogue & participating in many synagogue/jewish gatherings/ holidays? Or is this type of attendence and observance reserved for official converts to Judaism? part of why I say this is because if you are studying Judaism and find that you want to convert or do what is possible to be the closest to conversion, it is my assumption that at some point perhaps with the approval of a rabbi, you would be attending regular synagogue lessons etc weekly as the rest of the congregation does? I don't know about this so this is why I ask, thank you. Also I'd have to look into this further as it may be emphasized to also learn Hebrew, even if one is seeking to join or participate in a congregation that is not ultra orthodox, as Hebrew may be spoken a lot or majority of the time.

Attendance of services may or may not augment the wisdom that Hashem gives. There are many subjects that you can learn in an organized manner, but still you may be rejected for eternal life, just because you never learned to love Hashem. Ask Hashem to come to you and ask Him to reveal to you what is necessary. There will be many surprises waiting for you. Organized religion is not the way to learn to know Hashem, no matter what. Only Hashem revealing to you what is necessary is the way. I learned a lot, but it doesn't bring me closer to Hashem. Only prayer can do that and a contrite heart.

Rabbi, as an orthodox Jewish man, I have wondered if Abraham Avenu awoke from his long sleep, would he be accepted as a Jew in the land of Israel? Noachides pray when there is a a need for prayer. But if you are doing it to emulate Jews or making a ritual out of it, you could be seen as creating a new religion.
Maybe these communities are not a king an effort to help the convertt feel accepted. It doesn't mean being great friends if you don't want to but simply saying hello and ask how they are. It only takes a minute or so.ok
if a convert wants to follow a kosher system & doesn't want to follow congregation rules, they still need to be sensitive & respectful to the community. it comes from the love of The Torah and ahavat Israel. additionally, person like this can become a fantastic addition to regular shiurim.

I have been trying to convert. Even after careful study of Hebrew, Rashi, Ramban, ect I keep being rejected under the pretense that few have the authority to do so under the Beit Din. 5 years later - I wont give up. ill keep trying until I am accepted.
The “feeling” of not fitting in with the various Jewish communities by the Jewish convert is because the true Ger Tzedek is naturally inclined to follow the psak halacha l’maaseh from Moshe Rabbeinu. That psak, which is found in the five books of Moshe, is about the “Ben Yisraelith”. Moshe Rabbeinu ‘s court decided that the Ger Tzedek does not belong to any of the tribes of Israel. They may live among a community, but they do not have any claim or right of inheritance to the inheritance of the 12 tribes, those born of a natural-born Jewish mother and a Jewish father.

As unmarried individuals, they are both subject to the legal decision of Moshe Rabbeinu's court. This means they do not have any claim of inheritance within the land of Israel because it is divided entirely among the 12 tribes of the Children of Israel. Nor do they have any claim of inheritance on the property or possessions of any natural born Jewish male outside of the land of Israel. For the Righteous Converts who are women, if they marry a natural born Jewish male, meaning someone born of a Jewish mother, then like all other Jewish women, they become attached to the tribe of their husband and follow his tradition and minhag. They and their future children from that marriage have a halachic inheritance in the portion of their husband's tribe. For Righteous Converts who are men, they do not have the opportunity for that change of status through marriage. They do not, at the present time, have any right to the land of Israel, nor to the property of any natural born Jewish male outside of the land of Israel. The male convert can acquire property outside of the land of Israel through buying and selling or through receiving a gift, just like any other Jew. If a male Righteous Convert marries a natural born, Jewish woman, he does not become a part of the tribe of the father of his natural born Jewish wife. Her possessions and property outside of the land of Israel become his through marriage, like with all other Jewish marriages, meaning that he has rights of inheritance to any non-tribal property that belongs to his wife. Property inside the land of Israel would most likely revert back to the the possession of her father's tribe upon her demise. Male children from such a marriage would retain the same inheritance status as their father, meaning that they too would have no right of inheritance currently to the land of Israel. The children have inheritance rights to whatever their father has acquired, just like any other Jew. Just to clarify, male Righteous converts ultimately will be given an actual portion in the land of Israel, which will also give them their own inheritance rights inside the land of Israel. This discussed in the Prophets (Ezekial 48:18-20) and is one of things that is supposed to happen with the final redemption and the establishment of the Monarchy of King Moshiach. In Ezekial, the male Jewish converts are referred to as "the city workers".

In the Old Testament the strangers and sojourners dwelling with the Israelites were to be fully accepted and expected to follow all the same laws that the Israelites followed. It is telling that not only would the Jews of today who don’t accept Jesus as Messiah also not accept many non-Jews as one of them. The Jews were the chosen people to bring forth the Messiah to the world...not because they are in any way superior to any other human race. God makes this clear through Isaiah and other prophets. He tells them over and over again that it is not because of who they are, but because of what God wants to bring about through them. Jesus came unto his own and his own received him not. He is the stone that the builders rejected. The Bible (in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament) prophesied this would happen to God’s Messiah. The Messiah is to fulfill a whole round of prophecies. He is suppose to be a prophet, priest, and king. Jesus came (as the logos in the flesh) as prophet. He fulfilled the priest’s role in offering an unblemished lamb (Himself) as a sacrifice to satisfy His justice against sin. When Jesus returns He will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. Of course Jesus also fulfilled the other prophecies for the Messiah...born of a virgin...rejected by men...coming from Bethlehem, but also coming from Nazareth, sold for thirty pieces of silver, buried in a rich man’s tomb. Death would not hold him though. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!! God met injustice with the justice. The holy lamb of God was slain....and conquered death and rose back to life. If you can’t accept God’s answer to justice then you will strive to meet out justice on your own ....even to the point of beheading others. This is not God’s way. Only those without love in their hearts want to exclude others from being part of them based on race. Only those without love want to kill other humans simply for worshipping someone they believe is God coming in the flesh...and providing the answer to sin in Himself. Those without love for humanity are not of God.

Hello Rabbi, I have a question that is very important to me: you said in one of your videos that Tshuva does not work for non-Jews or that you still have to pay for your sins after death. But then I ask myself how can a righteous gentile who tries to keep the 7 commandments have a share in the world to come? If he has to atone for all sins, will he not come to the world to come but will he go to hell? Then why do many people suffer in this life? Because in this world there is no punishment and no reward as I have heard? Now what about children who, for example, are raped, have cancer, ... etc. And what if, for example, an idolater in a late age recognizes the God of Israel and the 7 mitzvot and that the Torah is the only truth. Does he then have to go to hell for all of the years that he has worshiped idols? I just wonder in what way is that fair. Because he can only repent and do better. I hope you can answer me!
