Nice guide. However, since your input video is 29.97fps (as seen in the bottom left corner in 2:24) and NOT exactly 30fps, you shouldn't convert the final output video to exactly 60fps. Doing this will cause occasional frame skipping because 29.97fps doesn't go into 60fps evenly. Set the output frame rate to 59.94fps because 29.97fps goes into 59.94fps evenly by a factor of 2. Thus, no frame skipping. Set the output frame rate to 59.94fps for 23.976fps input videos too.
(from my own experience) 1 works to banners 2 for animated cartoons or 2D videos (for example, riding in a vehicle recording the panorama from a side window) 11 2D and little 3D 13 versatile 2D and 3D 21 same with 13 but with (ilumination flashes) 23 same with 21 but with (ilumination and shades flashes)... Wow nice video and tool, thanks man! Also, I used the latest version and I tested all the override algo options. 21 and 13 worked best for me. I only used an anime gif though, you may need to test which one works best for you! If you want to import a gif, you need to convert it to an mp4 first. Just use an online tool for that.

I have a film rated 29.97fps. Once burned to 25fps, (I cannot alter this), dvd, the picture is jerky or choppy. Can I do anything with the 29.97fps video to make it play smoothly, please? I can change frame rates with Xmedia Recode Video Converter: 23.98; 24; 25; 30 FPS. Even 50 or 60fps.
@@zupah2147 This process takes a lot of time simply because you're upscaling the frame rate by at least a factor of 2. Thus, more frames for the encoder to process. You must wait the full duration of the conversion to prevent loss of quality in your output video.
