Using ZEN lite (blue) and Fiji how can I get a flattened image. I have confocal image in z stack and I want to have a flattened image so I can see all the layers in one single image. Thanks.
Hello, here is the process. open the zstack image using ImageJ. now click on image, stacks and z project. You may now choose the number of slices and select from the various options from the projection type. all the images should now be in a single file

Hello, if you are using Fiji the bio-formats plugin need to be installed. here are the steps. 1) open Fiji, help and click on update, 2) in the image updater window click on manage update sites, 3) in the manage update sites window scroll down to find Bio-Formats and check/select the box on the left hand side, 4) click apply and close. 5) in the image updater window click apply changes. 6) this should download the plugin. 7) restart the fiji and follow the tutorial.
