Bit of a pointless lecture here Ben. I'd say most of us here watching are already experts at converting winning positions into completely lost positions. I can even do it blindfolded.

I really appreciated the critical thinking exercise of trying to break down exactly *why the position is winning*. Rhetorical questions like this are really helpful for me as a newer player and I hadn't considered this frame of reference before. Thanks for the lecture and all of the educational content.

I played in the bill wright stl open last weekend. I was comfortable in all games but lost two. One was because I missed a move that gave decisive counterplay, and the other, i miscalculated a tactic in a crushing position….so I really needed to hear this advice. Thanks GM Ben

What I like about Ben is he might make a joke or two, you might even be the punchline in that joke, but he does take you by the hand and make crystal clear the aspect of chess he is teaching - he is a very good chess teacher. Another good thing generally about Ben's videos is you can watch them now, and then 6 months (or more) when you feel you have improved, you can watch them again and there will be nuances that perhaps you didn't catch the first time.
