The historic St Peter's Church, Portland, was built by convicts in 1872. It fell into private hands after it was declared redundant, and the (presumed) owner is Yorkshireman Kris Tomkinson-Dutheridge. Here, in November 2014, he tells his life story and describes how he came to buy the church, in conversation with Stuart Morris. Kris gave his full permission for the recording to be made, as he wanted to set the record straight after abuse and adverse comments from some individuals who misunderstood his motives.
