All very young kittens get along at first. They will both get very depressed if they are adopted together

@@Masshole4life My mother is a vet. It is actually a very common misconception that kittens should be adopted together. I would also like to point out that not every pair of cats will fight and be depressed; of course there are success stories, but as a whole it can be a very stress inducing household for them if there are two. A lot of people with two cats will find that they will pick the furthest away points from each other to rest. One will often choose a high point, such as a wardrobe, and the other at the corner of the bed etc. My mother has seen far too many horror stories to ever adopt cats together. Obviously you’re opinions are your own and of course are valid but if you want two pets at the same time a kitten and a puppy would be much happier together

My cat just passed away not to long ago due to some dogs on my street that weren't very taken care of. Thankfully, my neighbors felt bad for what happened and gave us one of their kittens. Seeing this kitten love makes my heart happy.

Btw, if anyone is curious, I named my kitten katya (after my favorite drag queen lol) I had been obsessed with katya's videos recently and when it came time for me to name her it was the first name that came to mind.

it can actually be bad to adopt out two littermates to the same family. I work in animal rescue and I foster mamas with their babies like joey does. the twins could (if adopted together) develop behavioral problems bc of their deep bond. the psychology of it is really interesting, look it up (it's called littermate syndrome) and you will see what I'm talking abt! it's worse for dogs (please, please, please NEVER adopt out two pups together), but it can still affect cats too. I will say that some cats end up fine bc they aren't pack animals like dogs, but I have seen it happen w a couple of kitties and it's so sad to watch.

These kittens are old enough to be introduced to wet food + toys + the litterbox now (but you have to pick litter with big pieces, since some kittens try to eat litter).

There’s a difference between playful chasing and chasing with an intent to harm/ kill, and moon exhibited the wanting to hunt her. Especially how he acted after she got over the gate

For the Mama kitty, I think Saphira sounds beautiful and matches because it’s a dragon name (the name of Eragon’s dragon) and she has blue eyes like sapphires (Saphira sounds similar to Sapphire).

Day 8 of suggesting the name Lynx for miss momma, it means wild cat and in Greek it means luminous in reference to eyes. Also I’m pretty sure miss momma’s color pattern is called Lynx point, so it’s even more perfect!

I swear black cats are so underrated.. My Bombay is sooooo freaking playful and so clever and all around soooo loveyyy. He loves belly rubs, and all cuddles. Such a good cat to have. Highly suggest. Especially for a first cat. He loves all animals too 🥺
