On this very day 50 years ago, former CNR number 7470 (47 at the time) departed from North Conway NH bound for the Village of Conway, from this one single excursion, a tourist railroad would blossom, after 50 years and three different owners, that tourist railroad is still going strong, So Sit back relax, and enjoy Conway Scenic’s 50th birthday with us.
