My favorite type of video! Love all of your cooking especially when you are a super mom and have adorable kids running around you! Can’t wait to try that steak marinade 👌🤩
Love your cooking videos Dear Charis...Keep them coming when you have time . Life here in Canada is looking quite bleak, we were told today to expect MONTHS more of this quarantine, and most people out of work. Watching your videos is a good escape for the craziness that has taken over our world. Pray everyday that God can correct the situation. Blessings my dear.
Charis, I usually freeze my garlic cloves as well, but I was recently watching Winnie Y on youtube, and she chops her fresh garlic and puts it in a jar of olive oil for the refrigerator, I thought that was a good idea, have you considered that? Freezing it takes away the strong garlic flavor, and I end up using double, you know? : )
It's best to get authentic kimchi from your local Asian Market. It's low cost and delicious! Please don't try that glass jar widely sold in grocery stores, it's flavorless, not authentic, and just tastes like vinegar. Asian market is the only way to go. Hope that helps!
Shamrock Girl @7:57 it says beef short ribs. I don’t know about other countries, but those kinds of beef cost about 2000-3000 yen(20-30 dollars) per pound in Japan.
Hi Hi Charis! Love your cooking videos. Will define try your receipts. I would love to know what do you make for Caleb? Is he starting to eat solids now? My little boy is about 14 months now, would definitely like to know more toddler recipes! Thanks.
I love your gal beef recipe Charis!!!! It has been quite a while since I got the recipe from one of your videos. My parents and boyfriend love it so much each time when I make it! I love your cooking! Plz have more videos like this! Love!
Hi I’ve been watching designer bag hauls and one of your videos was recommended and I watched it and guess what I hook on watching you . I love how you haul your LV bags plus I was surprise that you also cook and it looks delicious. New friend here.
Hi Charis, been watching ur videos quite a while...this is my 1st time to like & subscribe a blog/vlog... I'm a Chinese from the Philippines... Loved ur cooking vlog... Aside from Japanese foods, I also love Korean foods... Thank U for sharing the techniques on how/proper/simple way to cook it, in Korean way... Loved watching your vlog especially w/ the kids... That's the real world/ normal life/ everday life of a Mom. Stay safe
My mom also makes similar beef soup so now I will try to make it your way because I wrote down the instructions. I know how to make kimchi jjigae and Doenjang soup. Yes, definitely a typical Korean meal! Growing up in Korea my Haraboji (grandfather) would mix the rice, egg, and little soy sauce like a stir fry for lunch but gim (seaweed) and rice was always, and still a favorite! 😋
You are just good at what you do Charis. Nothing like a real authentic video that make me happy. I love seeing that your kids eat such a variety of foods and they eat well. Each time I watch your cooking videos I learn something new. Everything look delicious. I didn't know there were this many types of spinach even. I Love dried seaweed and can eat it with j just rice and Hot Pepper Paste. Miso soup even YUM! The kids are so funny and well behaved. TFS💕
Love your cooking videos. Your family gets such good and nutritious food. You have inspired me to try Korean dishes , I’m gathering ingredients from the grocery each trip. . TFS ! Blessings and Peace 🙏🏻
Yeah, you need to do a cook book! I have a title for you: “Love, love, love! Cooking with Charis!” “Easy and delicious Korean American fusion recipes” Crawling Caleb= so precious!
Yes, I love your vlogs especially cooking vlog. Do you add salt in the beef during the first part of this vlog?? If I don’t have that specific korean soy sauce you added in the soup, can I use any other soy sauce??
Thank you for doing a cooking video there my favourite.🍜🍚🥢❤️ Your little ones look so happy & content especially when you consider whats happening at the mo. You must be doing a great job.

🥰Hello Charis. This has got to be the best day ever for me. You, Lindie and Alice all did vlogs today😊. I so love when you cook and everything looks so yummy especially the egg fried rice 🤤. Caleb has gotten so big and looks so much like his big brother Joshua. And tell Joshua that we would love to see his Pokémon cards. My youngest son still collects them and he is in college lol. What a wonderful treat your vlog was. Thank you so much. Take care and have a wonderfully blessed day and peaceful night.
