So, apparently, all of the cookies who are born in the Milk village grow up to be righteous and virtuous? No wonder Milk cookie is such a stickler when it comes to protecting the weak, especially since he swore to become a hero to Dark Choco.
@@masachikaworshipper3661 na but like- some villains we'd see are actually likeable even if their intentions are malicious but affogato is mostly just- an actual bastard lmao
Fun fact: (which I saw on Instagram) If you interact with the licorice village with Licorice cookie on your team, he’ll say this: “It was a shabby town to begin with, but now it’s completely in ruins. Tsk…” Which I find pretty sad, coming from someone who likes Licorice cookie :(
It also begs the question: What exactly are Licorice Cookie’s origins? It’s implied that he was from that village, but I don’t exactly get why he hates the Licorice Sea so much, especially when it empowers him that way it does. Also, the Dark Cacao Kingdom does not seem like a place for academics, so how did he even learn magic in the first place? Why am I obsessing over this minor antagonist? I have no idea
I haven't gotten to this part of the story yet, so I'm asking this question because I can't do it myself: does anything happen if milk cookie goes to the milk village?
@@kale2488 I actually checked, no, Milk Cookie doesn't react if you bring him home. For other coffee cookies lovers, Affogato nor Latte react to the Coffee Tribe
!ATTENTION! THERE IS A PART TWO CARAMEL ARROW COOKIE WILL BE ARRIVING SO PLEASE PREPARE FOR THE NEXT MAINTENANCE THE DATE HAS NOT BEEN ANNOUNCED YET THERE WILL BE A EPISODE 15/14
Dang, it's great so far 😀. Affagato is a pretty good villan, convincing Dark Cacao to banish Caramel Arrow and joining a deal with Pomegranate. Can't wait to see him and Caramel Arrow fight! I'm glad they didn't give Dark Choco a redemption arc yet, since it's too early and he's showed no remores or regret. He went to the dark side anyway after seeing his memories by pomegranates spell. Plus the fact that he fought his own dad to make him fall off a cliff. Dark Cacao has some blame too, he neglected to help the other tribes and villages that were allies, it's sad to hear many had left or become bandits, especially with most of the Watchers being reduced. Can't wait for another update!
14:42 Oh, so a flying ruin with exactly three residents and a kingdom that can’t protect its city from a cranky dragon and would rather holds parties are you ally!? Sound great! Heck yeah, bring ‘em in! I’m sure they can definitely h e l p your neet king!
So pure Vanilla’s kingdom was at ruin and Hollyberry Kingdom was partying around while the dragon was on loose and now the kingdom was neglected by the king himself what next? The thieves was in golden cheese cookie’s kingdom while everyone was afraid of it
Well, a NEET is a person who is Not in Education Employment or Training. I’d say Dark Cacao cookie is more like a hikikomori. And though it’s not really established as to what the causes of somebody becoming a neet or a hikikomori aren’t well established, the main reasons are different. People are neets because of high youth unemployment rates, while hikikomoris are typically caused by a triggering or stressful event. Either way though, you have a point. Probably don’t want to ally with the king who can barely protect his own kingdom and also trusts a clearly evil man as his advisor.
It's really interesting to note offogato is legitimately afraid of dark choco. I wonder why. Is it because he knows his violence or because he can't manipulate him
@@duyvukhanh4525 certainly seems like dark choco is a wrench in offogatos plan. I mean. What if he just decides to destroy everything? Like he's shown to be prone to doing
This is the first part of the Dark Cacao episode, which is why I think the Dark Cacao castle level isn't seen yet. So I am still hyped and hoping Caramel Arrow Cookie will be playable since we've already seen leaked sprites of her. Oh yeah, we might've not seen the Coffee Tribe yet, aside from Affogato Cookie and their departure according to Espresso Cookie. Can't wait to see other Coffee cookies, they have such unique designs, including their eyes. Oh and I forgot, there is a surprise in this new stage. When you have Licorice and Espresso Cookie in your team, they will experience the abandoned villages of the Licorice and Coffee Tribe (I've said this earlier). EDIT: IT IS FINALLY HERE AND I AM EXCITED.
I'm glad to know Pure Vanilla Cookie has been reaching his friends now in some ways. When it comes to Cookie Run: Kingdom, that plot about him trying to reunite with them has remained on my mind.
Man, Affogato really does have evil intentions, his smoke coming from Ice-Cream pots of spreading faster than COVID 😰 But it's just so sad, I hope there's a good ending otherwise I'm confirming that Devsisters will make very sad and seemingly realistic stories come to life.
Caramel Arrow is gonna be the key for Dark choco being good cause dark choco really really really like the guy . proof look in cookie of darkness story
if you look in the story of the dark sweet tower you can see siloutes and 1 looks like a girl with a guess what a *BOW* with is prop caramel arrow and ( i think unrelated and obvious but idc ) dark choco and cacao both have the dark both have black with white streams, just way to obvioux
This storyline feel gives me the genshin impact lore feel and I find raiden ei very similar to dark cacao too isolation (Plane of Euthymia, The Citadel), fixating to one particular goal (Eternity, strong walls), betrayal (Tenryou comission and affagato)
Pure vanilla: childhood friend turn evil for knowing too much and he can have a mental break down anytime Hollyberry: thinking cookies has forgotting her Dark cacao: his own son betray him and got yeeted off a tall tower by his son Ayo i thinking the last one will be kinda dark
They completely left off where the team and Caramel Arrow Cookie sneaking into the Citadel. All we ever see is Affogato, the Dark Team and Watchers fighting the Licorice monsters.
That's honestly what makes the story more interesting as it focused more on the dark cacao kingdom then the main cookies Plus episode 13 seems to be more of a setup episode and episode 14 is where the real stuff happens
Well in the map, u need to have licorice in your explore team then tap on licorice village then special interaction would happen. Same goes to espresso with coffee village
I can really relate to Caramel Arrow. Also Affogato is making me mad, if you don’t cut this out I’ll have no choice but to stop putting in effort to put you on my team!
I think the "favor" that PV said in episode 10 was to send a message to every ancient "HollyBerry" "Dark Cacao" "Golden Cheese" "White Lily" (Correct me if I'm wrong😃)
@@lordbarbiestoes7283 I’m not sure if he does but in one of his lines in episode 10 he said “Dark Enchantress Cookie do you remember our secret garden” or something which believes me to think that he does since it was pv and wl’s secret garden
Theory. Perhaps dark cocoa ....slaughtered them all Let's look at the facts and make assumptions A:licorice has the power to summon the licorice monsters so we can assume others could as well B:all of the cookies in the milk village are virtuous so we can assume all licorice cookies were mmm . Jerks And c:we know dark cocoa is old. And the stories of the licorice sea monsters is old too so perhaps they happened around the same time It all lines up suspiciously.
@@doot7730 either that or they all died of starvation like all the other villages. That also seems very plausible. However... I do believe that BOTH arguments could work as to what happened to the coffee tribe...either they were slaughtered as a response to how powerful and magically intuned they were and were perceived as a potential threat... or they all simply dead off or flead the dark cacao kingdom due to dark cacao cookie investing too much time into fortifying the wall... Either would technically give affogato cookie a fair reason to want the dark cacao cookie. Not trying to justify his actions of course. Just trying to give affogato cookie a fairly decent backstory. It would make an AMAZING STORY TELLING ELEMENT. Also, I have a personal head canon that the bittersweet dark cacao warrior is a undercover refugee that disguised herself so that she wouldn't be killed off like the rest of her people. Also, tell ME if you guys think that crunchy chip cookie might be a descendant of the coffee tribe, or is just half cream wolf. (Makes you wonder about tiger lily doesn't it?)
One of Affogato's voice lines: ,,Yes, as a smart person you'll do what's right..." ,,I'm blassed to have a formidable ally in you.He he..." ,,I will prepare the finest sweets...Just for you" Those voice lines fricking killed me🛐
I like seeing new characters and lore! Caramel Arrow Cookie and a few others are new ones I admire, but Affogato makes me mad. XD I've always enjoyed learning about the Ancients and their kingdoms since I started playing, also. I'd to add: your cutscene videos are helpful, Royal Mike, while I wait to reach certain areas!
I’m stuck on 13-30 but I love this story. Also I think all my luck is gone I’ve gotten so many angry witches- Edit: I beat it and I realize Milk and Yam weren’t anywhere and I was expecting to see them. Maybe in the next episode but with the way the story is going I doubt it.
Wait how is custard back? We never saw him in Hollyberry's kingdom, I thought he stayed with pure vanilla. Well I do like seeing the annoying energetic custard so I'm happy
@@aj.2773 i think they were still there just doing different stuff around the kingdom though i wish chili pepper stayed on the hollyberry kingdom because she is fucking annoying 👹
Theory for episode 14: Dark Choco is looking for the soul jam. When the wall falls, since most likely Dark Choco is in the citadel, he falls too and gets injured. Everyone is confused. Meanwhile, Caramel Arrow and the starter team are in the castle, looking for Dark Cacao cookie. They hear the wall falling, and quickly rush outside. Caramel Arrow sees Dark Choco cookie and is like "HEY HOW DID YOU GET HERE" and is ready to attack. Dark Choco goes like "NO- IT'S NOT HOW YOU THINK-" The dark cookies interrupt (including Affogato) and are like "WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?". Affogato sees Dark Choco and talks to him about if he managed to get the soul jam and do something about Dark Cacao. Dark Choco says he wasn't able to get the soul jam but he k*lled Dark Cacao. Gingerbrave overhears this conversation and is sad. He tells about it to Caramel Arrow and she is speechless. She's like "What?.. Dark Cacao cookie... our king... is it really true?" It's sunrise by the time, and all the Licorice monsters disappear. Licorice tries to summon them again but fails. Caramel Arrow is about to attack Dark Choco, but then suddenly Dark Choco sees the soul jam, just hanging from the citadel or something. (He couldn't see it before because of the wall) He tries to get it by climbing the remaining wall, but Caramel Arrow and the starter team try to stop him. He succeeded to get it, but it's in a glass jar and Caramel Arrow shoots him down, then he accidentally drops the jar, and the jar and soul jam break. There's a spoiler or something about Dark Cacao being the final boss for episode 14, so I think his soul will literally just fly out from the soul jam and fight Gingerbrave or something Idk. There are two ending theories I have: Either: Dark Cacao's soul gets defeated, and he gets defeated forever. Dark Choco watches as Gingerbrave and his friends defeat his father, and he feels regret and shame. He has a literal whole regret arc and tries his best to let the sword go, but it refuses to. He picks up the shattered pieces of the soul jam and tries to put it back together, but his sword lets him drop it and break it more. He cries until Licorice accidentally does a necromancy spell while trying to do a dark spell and brings the soul jam back to life. (Basically almost everyone agrees that Licorice can do necromancy so yeah) Everyone is shocked and surprised. Dark Choco's sword tries to defeat the soul jam again, but nah man Dark Choco can't do it mentally. Dark Cacao comes back to life and a happy reunion happens or something. Either that or Dark Cacao is literally just dead forever. The end. (It's most likely this whole theory isn't true but yeah it was fun writing it)
Omg, Imagine Dark Choco Crying And Saying Sorry To His Father Several Times While Hugging Him, With Dark Cacao Shushing Him And Telling Him Not To Cry 🥺🥺🥺
