It honestly is. Whenever I go get Starbucks I notice that when they do drinks that don't fill the cup all the way, they just add more ice to make it look like it's full. That's why I usually get the Nitro Cold Brew, it has no ice and I get the whole cup worth of coffee.

I use to work at a small coffee shop. I would add one expresso shot 3 pumps of chocolate 3 pumps of hazelnut 3 coconut syrup add ice then top it off with half & half. 😋

Honesty, when you see the amount of of sugar these “fancy” drinks Starbucks contain, makes me so glad I brought my own espresso machine. I just melt some white chocolate (sugar free), with one squirt of sugar free hazelnut with two shots of espresso and frothed milk and it’s so delicious.
It’s probably just sugar. Tbh, even organic, homemade vanilla sugar doesn’t taste of vanilla much at all. It smells like it, but it tastes nearly identical to regular sugar. Regardless, it’s much more effective to simply scrape in a vanilla bean as opposed to the aforementioned.

I mean it's useful for some. I work at a Starbucks myself and had numerous amounts of people ask me for a Cookies n cream frappe (which does not exist). But since you aren't allowed to refuse a drink you just kinda have to wing it
@@peppercat1 you'd be surprised. Half the time whenever people order something like that they try to play it off as a secret menu item (which isn't a thing either). Usually if they order a drink that doesent exist we ask them what is in it. This drink for example would be like a Vanilla frappe with heavy cream, javachips, and a pump of mocha. I swear half the people who come in don't even order a drink off the menu but instead come up with some random bullshit like this

So when I used to work at Starbucks tik tok wasn’t even around yet so we had everyone coming in saying “I want the secret menu” people legit believed we had like this secret menu behind the counter we always say we’ll make the drinks if u have the recipe but people said no we wanna see the secret menu & then someone said well maybe only the managers have secret menus it’s too special for the baristas to have & this happened almost every day no joke
I worked for Bux for 4 years, ugh. I'd say "the secret menu is only a secret from your barista." I love when I would ask them for the recipe or kindly say they could google it on their phones then and there and they would ask if I could just google it. Ma'am, I am working at a constantly busy Starbucks, I do not have my phone on me. Did you work with the people that would spend any and all free time wasting product to practice and learn the secret menu items? I worked with several people that wouldn't help clean or stock but would make the same drink ten times and throw it down the drain ten times.
I fucking hated the secret menu people. We have no secret menu. The secret menu is bullshit crap other baristas create when they make their own drinks. I started at Starbucks around when TikTok was becoming popular and quit when the rona was spreading. Another reason why I quit the bucks because of my bullshit manager that over schedule me when I’m stuck at school then under schedule me post virus pandemic when I literally had online classes and nothing else to do.

@@everydaydreamer1 When Starbucks was opened there was only two sizes, tall and grande (small and large). They later introduced the bigger venti sized drink but kept the names the same. So now the grande is technically the medium sized, but when we were first opened it was the largest
if you new to starbucks or want to try a new drink order a vanilla bean frap with rasberry srupy and strawberry whip on top and cake pop on top as well btw this is the cotten candy one cause sometimes people say its not pink but this one will make irt pink
Seen a few comments on how to order, I’m another fellow Starbucks barista and here is how to order it so that it makes the most sense imo :) Grande cookie crumble cream Frappuccino (I would ask to make sure that’s the one with no coffee in it, sometimes baristas mix this drink up with its coffee counterpart!), made with heavy cream, with only a half pump of mocha, one pump of vanilla, three scoops of vanilla bean powder, 4 scoops of chocolate chips, and double blended. The recipe for this drink gives you some whipped cream and cookie crumble topping on the bottom as well as the top of your drink, so that’s cool. This drink will kill your gut if you’re me, so be prepared to sit on the toilet later that day or the next, lmao.
If u want to order this order a " grande vanilla bean frap made with (milk of ur choice) , 1 pump of mocha, and 3 scoops of java chips" ask for it double blended if you like it smoother
I also worked at starbucks, how i made it was with white chocolate mocha and java chips. Its easier to order and probably tastes a but better because vanilla bean powder is overly sweet
@ت ooh, now that sounds like something that definitely would go wrong, I'd think lemonade and coffee don't mix well, and even if they do, it's probably the employee's first time mixing something like that into a drink, you should tell them exactly how much is to be mixed in and how to do it.
I used to work at a Starbucks, just blend on 3 for smoothie, it’ll give you the same result as blending twice on 1. We were a really busy story that later on become a drive thru. We used to blend two venti fraps on 3 all the time.
I work at a gas station, and we make milkshakes and food too. We use this stuff called “ice cream base”, it kinda tastes like melted ice cream but in a gross thick way.
