I wanted inspiration for Thanksgiving dinner because it’s my first time cooking for Thanksgiving . I’m 17 . Everything looks so yummy and you’re so beautiful!
Happy Thanksgiving 2021! I just came across your video today and couldn’t stop myself from jumping up and down!! I will have you going in the kitchen with me next week. I’m not great with eyeballing measurements but I’m letting you take the lead😂I KNOW you’re going to have me throwing down in the kitchen. SO inspired right now. Running to the store now. THANK YOU!!
Girl, you were jamming in that kitchen. I loved the way you broke down that Turkey that was truly skillful. I am prepping a couple of days in advance as usual. I am really going to use some of your time management techniques. I Love to cook but ALL day is the kitchen for Thanksgiving will be a thing of the past thanks to you🥰
This was very enjoyable. The banana pudding was a nice touch! And I’ve never seen a turkey broken down like that, wow. The herbs on the turkey pieces looked so yummy. Herbs are my thing.
This was so well done. Very informative. I really liked how you just got right to it. No long intros, no long speeches. Thank you for sharing. I will certainly be using your recipes this Thanksgiving!
I missed out on thanksgiving last year with my family because of the army but I get to enjoy thanksgiving this year with them and my husband is wanting me to go all out lol that’s exactly what ima do!!😭
I been watching this video for the last two years. It always makes me excited for thanksgiving and gets me in the mood to cook. I got some good pointers as well. Thanks for sharing ❤
cornstarch slurry into the candy sweet potatoes makes a pretty glaze. Thank you for sharing this with us! I really enjoy the way you cook and don't obsess over fussy details. That's how I cook, too.
Yaaaaaassss sugar lol it’s the holidays people....girl you did that!!! I can’t wait for thanksgiving 2020. And I like that you cut up the turkey takes less time to cook #smart TFS❤️❤️❤️
Me too. It's so much easier to cook it when it's broken down. Alternatively, you could also just buy the pieces you like the most rather than cooking the entire bird.
Danielle, baby girl. You get a standing ovation and a real big black choir singing just to celebrate you. Dang, honey you did the hell out of that Turkey. This year will be my First time cooking a Turkey. I always order Greenberg Turkey, but they burned down this year before I could order it. My Mom died 3 years ago and she always loved cooking our Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner. We did not have to do nothing but show up. My First year turned out great, cooking at my daughters house in Houston, 2nd year was good. This year my heart was not in it until I saw your vid. So I went bought an 12 lb Turkey since it’s just my daughter and grandson and a few of her friends. Lately I have been busy watching RU-vid for all my recipes and have thoroughly loved cooking lately. I am so Uber proud of you, you cooked that dang dinner like a sho nuff Culinary Artist. I’m truly impressed. I really stood up and gave you proper respect baby. You made that look amazingly easy as heck. You go girl. I’m going to do mine like yours this year. Thank you so much for giving me a lift about the Holiday and The Food. I’m subscribing and clicking notification button. Keep up the good work. You look like a very young baby to be so wise in your cooking efforts. Block out the hateful naysayers and keep doing you. Cause you got “IT” baby. And “IT” works for you. 🙏🏼❤️💯
Everything looks sooo Good!!!! I had to stop the video after watching how you did the pudding!!! I went to my pantry and found some vanilla pudding mix and made it your way... OMG The texture!! Like eating a pudding cloud!!! TFS ✌️❤️
Wow.......you did a phenomenal job, and all the crusines look delectable! That banana pudding, sweet potatoe pies, and mac and cheese remind me of my grandmere' s style of cooking. You are a superb cook. One of the best Thanksgiving spreads I seen on You Tube thus far. I want a plate to go! Lol
I love it! I’m binge watching holiday cooking video get those small hams as well for thanksgiving. I glaze it with honey bourbon cranberry sauce too! Your dinner looks amazing 😀
Tip, take the back of a porcelain plate that you don’t care to mess up and run your knife over the rim of the bottom of the plate and it will sharpen it if you don’t have a knife sharpener! :)
@@DanielleLaShawn You know none of my family (immediate or distant) has ever did potato salad for Thanksgiving ot Christmas. New Year's either for that matter. That's more like a summer, 4th of July dish to us. But to each their own, I guess. LOL
My grandmother used to make potato salad for Thanksgiving but she had a bunch of visitors. With me cooking for just my family I know they they don't all eat it so it's not always worth it to make some things even if I like them.
Hi Danielle, I hv a daughter by that name..smiles.. Wow! That was a lot of work to do by yourself! You did an amazing job! Happy holidays to you nd your family. That was what we ol school folks call a serious "spread." Your grandmother taught you well; plus, you're a "clean" cook also, in which to people who grew up in my era, is just as important than the food, if not more..Lol..Not many young ladies, now-a-days have cooking skills on your level. Soon, if not already, your little twin, is ready to learn from her mother's amazing gift in the kitchen. God Bless you & yours! 🙏🏾💜🙏🏾🥰
I stumbled across your channel and watching you breakdown the Turkey was interesting 🤔 Why didn't I think of that???🤕 ALL the other videos are about roasting the Turkey intact. You are different 🌈 Awesome 🤸💝🤩I subscribed 💙💜🧡💖
You are amazing!! You made almost every thing I would make except for the brocolli casserole and squash casserole and the dressing. Thank you sweet lady!!
What a cutie pie your clone is! Loves how you cut up that turkey. I will be cooking a turkey breast this year because there's only my brother and I, but I love the wings and legs too!
You did an amazing job! I'm gonna either cut my turkey apart like you did or do the upside down turkey like other videos showed. I might do both to compare. Either way thank you so much for showing how you cook your Thanksgiving meal. I'm definitely going to make that banana pudding though this year! It looked so good. I love how you know the measurements by just looking...awesome!
Thank you! I've never tried the turkey upside down but for me it was about the speed of cooking the pieces vs the whole bird. Let me know what you try and how you like it!
Your vlog was amazing. You are a real cook. I’m amazed at how you made all that the day of. You don’t measure a lot but everything turns out perfect. You are very relaxed and drill right through making all those dishes. Mac n cheese looked delish. Also, loved the background music so relaxing .Couldn’t stop watching with the music playing so enjoyable. Sweet daughter. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
I enjoyed your video alot. You are so hard working and you know what you are doing. I was a little worried about the turkey breast being undercooked but it wasnt so Im pleased. Very glad I watched to the end. Your husband must be proud he made you his wifè!Cooking is ministry. God bless you, your kitchen and your family!!
New Subscriber I watched the video from beginning to end. I like the way you explain everything so clear and thorough what you are doing. The food looks delicious... Kim H. writing from Chicago Illinois
I actually do the same thing! It’s makes the turkey incredibly juicy and tender and it’s enough hours to fully cook it no matter how big. I hope y’all have a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas! 🦃🍽🎄💕
Yes melt the 2 sticks of butter and when it is completely melted add 1 cup packed brown sugar., when it starts to bubble add a tablespoon vanilla cinnamon and teaspoon nutmeg. Pour it over sliced sweep potatoes and bake 50 min 375 covered.
Hey Danielle, I love this video, Last night I tried, I mean, I really tried to do exactly as you did in this video I got all my ingredients, set up my work space, Girl I even said I would not take a 30 minute break, 6 hours, 3 breaks, 2 glasses of wine and 5 RU-vid videos later, I quit and went to bed, I’m in the kitchen now trying to finish up, lol I could not contend with you. You are a RockStar💫 ⭐️✨🌟 and deserve an award for this dinner, Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Lol, that is so funny. You might have a larger quantity of food to cook than me or you might just not have had as much practice. I have been a stay at home mom for 10 years and I have 4 kids so this has been my job. Don't feel bad. Lol
Hi from GA! ❤️ Just like ours! You’re an excellent cook. Fantastic job. We like dressing instead of stuffing, baked in a pan, I use 1/2 biscuit 1/2 cornbread as base. I hope y’all are having a blessed year!
OMG....watching your video was amazing!! It was like being in the kitchen with family! I chuckled each time you added seasoning, reminded me of my Dad...he never measured anything and his food was perfectly seasoned. I’m definitely planning my Thanksgiving menu around your videos inspiration!!! Thank you for sharing, you have a new Sub! So glad your video came up on my feed today. Actually a few of them did, but yours stood out more. Great content! 😊
Are you one those cooks that once everything is done you’re tired exhausted and than don’t have an appetite to eat with your family😂 Awesome job⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@DanielleLaShawn I’m just like your grandma😂 I eat after everyone is gone that’s when the appetite kicks in.but anyway I enjoy your videos be blessed and stay safe💕
You gave me a good idea. . I never thought of cutting up my Turkey.. Now I don't have to waste any. Am only cooking for myself..Thank for sharing your recipes. 😊
Your thanksgiving video was super inspirational and gave me even more excitement and motivation for my dinner this year. I typically cook everything myself as well but I watch RU-vid yearly as a way to get in the holiday spirit! Your so beautiful and look and speak just like my younger sister 💗 thanks girl
• Breaking down the turkey was brilliant, and surely more flavorful. • I've never seen white sugar used in candied yams. Try cooking the butter and brown sugar in a pot, along with a little pineapple juice, to make your syrup. Then pour the syrup over parboiled potatoes that are barely soft. Add your spices and bake until it all caramelizes. • Try baking your pie shells until lightly toasted before adding your filling. Good job!
First time see your video and you are a GREAT COOK love how you did the sweet potatoes definitely doing mine that way this Thanksgiving ..love the gravy also..loved it all.. thank you for sharing I'll be looking forward to your next video.. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
I like her Vibe. I really look forward to Thanksgiving in the next 3 days so that I can eat that great beautiful wonderful food.🦃🦃🍽🍽🎛🎚🍴🔪🍗🐓🥬🫕🍲🥘🥔🍯🍠🥣🍲🍰🎂🧁🥧🥮🍥🧁🎃🎃🍸🍷🍻🍺🥂🥂🍾🍹🍒🥖🥖🥖🌽🌽🦴🍖🥙🧋🥄

Girl, o my Lord, you are the best ,and you didn’t measure a thing. Turkey looks so good, and sweet potatoes, I just can’t say enough. And all of this in 5 hours . Absolutely wonderful. I know you are wore out. Everything you make looks out of this world. Now rest, and Good bless .
