Zoe when you have oil in a pot always put your fire down low until the ready to place things in there and then you can put it up to med low. Also when you are using onions and garlic,turn to the side and cut the end and top off and then you peel.

Peeling off the onions moment was so relatable to me lol. For me, it depends on the type of onions I have access to. Some are so easy to peel and some aren't. The effective way I started to use is to cut it vertically, root to root (both ends of the onion) so I can just peel the first layer (next layer to the hard skin) out of both cut pair of the onion.
