Welcome back LTTA Fam! In today's episode, I'll discuss some of the transformative experiences I've had lately. Then, I'll take you through the emotional journey of cutting my hair all off, which turned out to be a moment of true liberation.
I’m also going to share a little bit of the behind-the-scenes of my recent comedy show in Vegas. I got to open up for amazing legends like the singer Brandy, Lloyd , Kelly Price plus more !
But it's not all glitz and glamour. This episode is about more than just these events. I'm opening up about the importance of pushing through life's tough transitions and the power of practicing detachment. Sometimes, letting go is the best way to move forward. The message of this episode hit so hard because, EVERYTHING you spoke on hit hard. I'm currently growing out my own hair, I'm currently healing spiritually trying to practice detachment. EVERYTHING you spoke on felt like I had talked to you on my current struggles . I cut my hair January 1st 2024 I had to detach and have a new beginning trusting God and surrendering all to Him. Allowing His lead and guidance .. my gaze and focus is on Him as I let go and let God!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I comment rarely. Very rarely. I watch Meg but THIS message and CONTINUED messaging like this is so important. Meg takes you to God, which is fine she has to do it on a more relatable level for those that are on thier way. THIS message though, is relatable and necessary. I totally understand this. I personally believe where Meg is in her relationship with Christ is a direct reflection of her podcast. To me, it’s highly relatable because similar to her I went through a season in my life where I honestly broke down in having the conviction to surrender completely to God. To those that are on their way, I can see how B’s pod is more relatable. Ultimately, I think the world in general has to hold space and accept them both for where they are & who they are. This is by no means an attack on you personally btw! It’s just my general opinion.

HONEYYYYYY this episode gave me chills! I’m in the most uncomfortable season of my life & the biggest lesson that I’m learning is NOT TO RUSH, take my time & do it the right way. I would pray & pray for my situations to change but would not move. Steady repeating the same cycles. God said ok, you don’t want to move when I tell you to so I’m about to shake things up. Chile he shook some things up. I can’t even give credit to the enemy, I know this is nobody but God transitioning me. I’ve been in my own way for YEARSSSS but right now I’m learning to give God complete control. The enemy wants my mind so bad but I’m pushing through this & not going backwards. Thank you babygirl, this was the reassurance I needed! It’s time to stop straddling the fence & let God move in my life the way HE wants!

I don't usually miss an episode but the day this dropped I couldn't listen to it. That particular day I was irritated and feeling all the things and just couldn't listen. Today I remembered I didn't finish this episode and watched it in full and I'm glad I did. I started my journey when I graduated last year. It’s crazy how you said you’re in the season of forgiveness that resonates with me.I was watching a video last week and It inspired me to make a forgiveness list , where I list all the people I’ve not spoken to or don’t really have a great relationship with because some of the things that happens in my childhood. This is the beginning of that I’m calling my auntie today and expressing how I feel to her and how I want us to try this again.

My girl has done it again - POURED! I think sometimes like what would life be like if we just came healed and came already perfect and together and just followed a script until we perished… it sounds so nice and safe. But we all would be so well rounded that the beauty of our unique journeys would be nonexistent. And I think that is what colors life. For example.. we are enjoying YOU for your own unique journey, story, and talents. Which gives us something to learn from & feel good about. The tough times hurt like hell but they truly make us who we are! When we’re young, our brain isn’t even developed enough to process certain things which leads to us not having awareness about things that we need to change and be better at. Life unfolds exactly as it should.. even the ugly deep rooted parts.

Wheww 🙌🏾 this right here! I’m in a season of leaving a (ministry) that I’ve been at since I was younger. Started going there because my Mom took me there when I lived with her. Needed this. I’m going through a test. God is testing my discernment and ability to detach from something he clearly is telling me is no longer for me. This thing that was once a dream was really just a stepping stone and lesson so that I could be fit for my greater purpose. I appreciated hearing this. His vision for me is much clearer now than it was this morning, last week, last year. I need to release and let God guide my life instead of thinking I can control everything.
