Thank you Field Days for promoting my island & country. For you guys who wondering about seasoning in a plastic bag he used in this video, it is called BASA GENEP or BUMBU GENEP. BASA or BUMBU means seasoning and GENEP means complete. It's made of all kind of balinese spices that mixed together with a lil bit of coconut oil. It's used in various kind of Balinese cuisine and available almost at any traditional market in Bali. Give it a try, i swear it tastes bloody delicious🤤

I'd love to see you try to cook a whole fish underground. In Hawaii it's called Kalua or Imu. You should be able to find all the resouraces needed on the island.

When he started drinking the coconut water I was like “Nooooo! Now how are you gonna cook the fish?” And then bam out comes the coconut milk! I bet it tasted bloody lovely! I was wondering if it would have cooked faster if you sat the coconut on the sand and built the fire around it? Also what would be the difference using an old coconut like the bowl to see if that hard shell gives you a better/different heat conductor? Love the videos!!! 🤟🏽

I was actually thinking about the same thing. I reckon the hard shell would've made a good cooking pot and the water should technically keep the shell from burning away. But it was fun to see the way he did it. More epic.

You'd need to have a bunch of available fruit and plants to do that. You can't do shit without a knife and no piece of glass or rock will be a substitute.

A broken glass bottle can make a basic knife, but they wear down fast, you wouldn't be cutting wood with it. Would easily be able to gut a fish though. Assuming he could catch one without any hooks.
