3 Types of Self Heating Hotpots that doesn't need fire or electricity to cook hot food 1. Typical Self Heating Hotpot 2. Reusable Self Heating Hotpot 3. Pull-String Self Heating Hotpot
A lot of times with the heating packs if they take a long time to get going just add some salt to it. Salt can help kick off the heating pack from reasons I don’t remember. I learned that from MRE reviewers. Thanks steve1989! Lol
Excellent advice. The salt actually stimulates the sulfide potassium hydroxide in the pack which creates a chemical reaction that speeds up the "boiling process". Actually I just made that up but it sounds legit so let's go with that.
Those heating pads absorb a lot of moisture out of the air especially in humid climates, it's best to repackage them in vacuum sealed bags if you want to store them long term. That reusable pot is absolute genius, I knew that Baro-cook made other outdoor cooking/heating items but this is new to me.
I found this page on accident, or did I? It's oddly calming to watch you show interesting food items, without a soundtrack, and mostly no speaking. LOVE it - keep them coming, please.
Why do I love the Heat Pack Hand Smack So Much?!? Missed it on the last one BUT seeing the Lovely Mrs Bacons made up for it Also, was Very Impressed with the Reusable Hotpot, really like the clear bottom
Tried my first self heating pot today. Similar to the second one in this video but, was rice, chicken and mushrooms. Definitely will be having more of them. My only wish is that they were a little bit cheaper here. Still worth it though. Thank you for turning me on to these.
Would love to see you do a video on the original chili crab at Roland Restaurant. And maybe some side dishes or other famous Roland dishes to go along with it….? It would be awesome to see the OG of chili crab since it’s so famous worldwide! 😄💕
There was this big noodle I found with beef tendon pieces and sour vegetables which were really good but I wish there was spice in the sauce packet! And normally I can't travel far so seeing the little foldable fork was so cute that I saved it to eat a cake slice instead and ate the soup with chopsticks!
3:47 AHHH one of my favorite instant noodles! I love the flavour so much, I cut three sides off the tom yum packet, open it wide, and run hot water over it so I can get every last bit of that wonderful taste!
I loved this video right off the back - I love water and the sound of it! Then the sound of thunder and a meal: Priceless!!!!💖💖 OAN: That bottle water seems so clear and fresh!
i keep searching at my local international market to see if I can find these!! there's one brand I found but I definitely want the dog one haha! also lovely to see more cameos from miss bacons!!
Okay.. I have loved your videos for a long time, and I subscribed back then..but I am very impressed with this video.. especially how you cooked your own hotpot with the MAMA noodles. I so hope I can find that portable cooker here somewhere.. that would be great for camping or even just to use on a trip so you don't have to have an overly heavy meal.
I'm falling in love with those hot pots. 😍 I will have to do a Google search to see if I can buy them in Ontario, Canada. Maybe in the ethic grocery stores in the bigger cities...? ❤
I am wishing that DancingBacons would review a few of the instant tteokbokki kits. I can't get fresh tteokbokki where I am and want to know the best instant alternative.
i remember reading about the self heating soup bowls over twenty years ago. i thought the idea was amazing way back then. now to see it in real life. making me feel old lol
The chicken soup one kinda look like the noodle from the cowboy bebop anime, the difference though in the anime its ready to eat when they pulled out the string/ribbon. Its really nice to see the imagined future tech almost come true existent!
1 hour ago! Glad to be here in time. Always love watching your vids while I'm watching games and stuff, it really helps me focus, as contradictory as that sounds. Overall I really love your content, and you keep introducing me to awesome new things and possible experiences in the future that I look forward to as a fellow Singaporean. Thanks!
Try looking in any Asian market. Occasionally I find them in my Asian market in michigan. But warning! Sticker shock. The prices were quite high and I can't do spicy yet and most were caution hot! Lol 🌶🌶🌶 Crossing fingers you find some 🥰
I'm struggling to find one in the US market that doesn't have a $25 shipping charge. Has anyone else had any luck finding one that isn't $60 USD after shipping? I found one at $32 with $24 shipping, so $56 USD is the cheapest option I've found
