Gungjung Tteokbokki (Royal court stir-fried rice cake) recipe👨🍳
궁중 떡볶이 레시피
Ingredients
• Rice Cakes: 500g
• Beef: 200g
• Green Onion: 1 stalk
• Bell Pepper (Paprika): 1
• Onion: ½
• Shiitake Mushroom: 1
Seasoning Sauce:
• Soy Sauce: 30g
• Sugar: 10g
• Minced Garlic: 10g
• Kelp Broth (Dashima Yuksu): 50ml
Recipe
1. Prepare the Rice Cakes:
o Rinse the rice cakes in cold water.
o Blanch them in boiling kelp broth for about 2 minutes.
o Drizzle with sesame oil to prevent sticking and set aside.
2. Prepare the Ingredients:
o Slice the green onion, bell pepper, onion, shiitake mushroom, and beef.
3. Cook the Vegetables:
o Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
o Stir-fry the shiitake mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper until tender.
4. Cook the Beef and Rice Cakes:
o Stir-fry the green onion with oil until fragrant.
o Add the beef and cook until browned.
o Add the rice cakes and continue to stir-fry.
o Pour in the seasoning sauce and simmer until the mixture thickens.
5. Combine and Finish:
o Return the cooked vegetables from step 3 to the pan.
o Stir-fry everything together for about 30 seconds.
o Drizzle with sesame oil.
o Transfer the tteokbokki to a serving plate.
