*GUYS YOUR MICROWAVE IS FINE!!!* That is a Wolf MWC24 microwave _and_ convection oven. The metal tray seen in the video is for the device but the convection oven part of it, not the microwave. When you use the microwave function you are supposed to *take out* that metal catch-dish (which is actually for a rack) and put in the glass plate designed for microwave use. I highly recommend finding the PDF of the MWC24's manual, it's quite a neat little oven you have there, just need to learn how it's used! Hope this helps! ~Much love~ ♥

Ryland! I have the same microwave as you I know why its doing that!!! So that wheel stand thing sitting on top of the metal plate is actually supposed to go underneath so it allows the tray to rotate properly rather than grinding on the metal... hence why there are sparks. Also I'm pretty sure its also a convection oven (atleast mine is), so to microwave things evenly there should be a plastic type tray that sits on top of the metal one as well. Hope this helps! :)
