Steve,if you fry the garlic ,onion first ,then mix it with the rest it will be tastier.i use a sheep’s gbejna on top after its half cooked ,when you tip it over.it just melts and so delicious.
Love ittt as usual. It looks divine. The term for Mushrooms in Maltese is 'Faqqiegh' Steve. A lot of Maltese don't even know this but my Nanna told me many years ago :)
Ey up. I do love a nice omelette. The very best of luck in your retirement mate. Somehow I don't think you'll slow down.... Save me one of them shopping baskets please for the reet and I'll take ya for a bevy. See you in April. Cheers Steve
😃 hi Steve ,i'ts looks good,I 👍like an omelette with filtning in🤗/special one with shrimps in🦐/and I love the special Malta bread,😆 and I always take some in my suitcase✈ lol💃from Copenhagen DK 🇩🇰
Hi Steve In an omelette you put what you like as you mentioned but I never forget grated cheese to it as an ingredient. Love my cheese. It must be the Dutch influence 😆
Mary 🇦🇺🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ that looks so good very easy to make, Maltese bread 🥯 the best in the world 🌎, thanks Steve love your video’s,💕💕🇲🇹💕💕🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️👍👍👍
Also bajd is plural and bajda is singular so you were actually right :) so we actually say 'froga tal- bajd' (eggs). But I love your efforts to try and share. Well done.
THAT OMELETTE LOOKED VERY TASTY & FILLING STEVE 🍳 🍽 🍵 😋. PROSET 👏 They say 'you need eggs to make an omelette' , well Steve, you went beyond that to make a DELICIOUS "Breakfast Omelette". I make it the same way you did it but I add some grated cheddar cheese. (NO garlic or spices for brekky please 😌 🛑 ). FYI : BAJDA= 🥚, BAJD = 🥚🥚🥚x THANKS STEVE 🎥 👏 👏 👏 . Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™ .
Well done chef! nothing like a froga for breakfast. I agree, maybe a bit of garlic and onion to spice it up a bit and maybe some grated cheese? You might want to try a froga tal spaghetti sometime?
Hi Steve you better double check the mushrooms you said it wrong in Maltese sorry to tell you, but thank you for your video I'm still watching it so far thanks again
@@EnglishmaninMalta Mushrooms is correct. Everybody calls them mushrooms, so now that's a Maltese word. Remember, Maltese is like an omelette of languages. ;-)
Can’t beat an omelette Steve, I like mine with cheese, peppers, onion, tomato, mushrooms and a little bit of Palma ham 😋 and Maltese bread is something else! 🍞🤤 Looking forward to some when we are over in July. I forgot to comment about your retirement on your other channel - happy retirement! You strike me as someone who will get itchy feet from retirement though! Do you plans to dip your toes into anything else?
I have never had 'Froġa tat Bajd' before, the Maltese kind anyway. 'Froġa tat Bajd' does mean 'egg omelette' after all, and I have had plenty of 'egg omelettes'. It looks great, yet I have no idea what it's supposed to look like in any of the different Maltese ways to make it.
Steve..you speak Maltese with a Gozitan accent !! I love it !! Glad you didn't put garlic in your eggs. Gives me a tummy ache early in the morning. I love a good Fruga tal bajd.band.. Bon appetite ! 😋
