The “starch” rinse is for potatoes…. when you rinse pasta it’s to stop the cooking process and you take the coating off so when you add the pasta it doesn’t thicken the sauce and doesn’t let the sauce stick to the pasta when making pasta salad yes you want to rinse the pasta 👍🏽when cooking a warm/hot saucy dish remove the pasta from the water and straight into the sauce👍🏽

If you peel off the paper on top of the salt and instead of opening the salt, use the holes and the salt won’t pour out so heavy. It will lightly pour out. Just a tip I found out. Love you girl!🫶🏾💕

I didn't know it was a starch thing. I always rinsed pasta to keep it from sticking. Also, your Aunt Jacky said to put the onion in the freezer for a few minutes before cutting; that helped me
