never been this early to one of ryan’s videos, time for a random rant. i always personally prefered this van setup to the japanese mini truck. while the other is more unique this space is clearly much more practical and genuinely liveable. one of the best camper/tint home setups i’ve seen, esp with the hidden shower.

That your culinary achievements additionally have the ambience of stunningly beautiful spots in nature… well, WOW! WOW! Can’t wait for the next!

Kitchen pro tip...if you roll the limes for a minute or two before you use them it will allow more juice to come out. When juicing it you can also squeeze it around the spoon end of a spoon and that works really well with get the most juice out of them.

I remember when I was younger my mom grinded up the skin almost making it into dust and put it in salt shaker. The reason for this was because supposedly snake skin helps out with pimples. It sure took my pimples away . I would put it on my meals like if it was salt. It tasted pretty good .

Rattle snake rodeo is big in Texas. Snake meat is good eating. Down in FL, we like gator meat too. Both species make good skin for cowboy boots. Ryan , this episode was kind of hilarious - trying to keep cool in the stifling heat and weighing your ROI decision on the rattlesnake . That portable A/C unit looked like a jet pack that you can fly around in ( LOL ) . I thought the van had a low profile HVAC unit.

Hey Ryan, native Arizonan here. If you want to escape the heat in Arizona and see some cool stuff in a forest, go up to Mt. Graham in eastern Arizona. The Vatican has the LUCIFER telescope up there and supposedly there are many UFO’s to be seen there. Used to family camp up there as a kid in the 70’s. Beautiful mountain!!

I thought rattlesnake meat tastes like chicken when I had some out in California

I’ve been to the Cali side of Lake Havasu, in January. It was beautiful. The water was so clear and all the colored pebbles in the water were really beautiful. That’s a nice area. I can’t imagine how hot it is in the summer though (and yes, it is still technically summer until the 21st). It was a pretty comfortable mid ‘50’s when I was there. Also, love it when you cook in the van. So entertaining to see what you come up with. I don’t think I could ever eat snake, though.

You missed southern California 121° last week. Two days later it was 85° and need sweaters in the morning. We had a 5.1 earthquake probably from the drastic temperature differnces. Very few schools got closed.

When I saw the CHOMPS bag I thought "My Man!" I love CHOPMS it's one of if not my favorite brand of snack stick. The flavor I love is the Jalapeno flavor, it has the right amount of spice without making me reel in mouth pains.
