Cooking Simulator EP290: [Sushi DLC] Day 1 - First Impressions
First Impressions! Wow another DLC right before Cooking Simulator 2 comes out. This time it is sushi.
I bought the game within a few minutes of it becoming available (based on the notification I received). Then immediately recorded the first impressions. But the late hours meant I could only edit it the next day. While I tried my best to get it rendered and uploaded, the original upload encountered a massive problem on RU-vid..
MUSIC COPYRIGHT! Like.. why?! How can this happen? Anyway I had to edit away the infringing parts which were like about 25 seconds and another 30 seconds or so. But the rendering, uploading and processing took hours. So this video is coming onto the channel many hours after the DLC's initial release. Oh well. I tried. Music copyright is out of my control and there's nothing I can do to pre-empt it until RU-vid flags it on the video.
Well the main overlay is somewhat of the same approach as cakes and cookies DLC and Pizza DLC, using the mobile phone as an interface to purchase, take orders, and level up.
As for the tutorials, while there are quite a lot, I feel that it can still be rather overwhelming for a new player to watch all of them when the excitement of jumping straight into gameplay makes every tutorial video feel lengthy. Probably a hands-on tutorial might be better.
As for the serving of the sushi, I think it would have been great if the game told us what exactly was wrong with our dish because obviously the customers weren't accepting it.
Lastly, the overall gameplay and UI is still alright as it follows the style of the main Cooking Simulator game and the DLCs. So players who are already familiar with the game wouldn't struggle with it.
Now to publish the video at 2pm (About 3.5hrs after the initial upload) but not before thinking what to do for the thumbnail and creating it.
That's +8GMT which is at terrible time for most of my viewers for this series! But I don't want to delay this any further as I don't want to release too many videos so close to each other. (One more in about 10hrs time, and another in about 18hrs time)
Meanwhile RU-vid is still 50 mins away from processing HD.
