Gosh darn it, Dan! I freaking love your family. You all have the best sense of humor. My kind of crowd. I wish for nothing but the best for everyone. You guys are stinking hilarious. Love all of you!
Good morning! I just want to ask for prayers. I lve in the Texas panhandle we have had over million acres burnt by wildfires. Many people who don't have homes now. My brothers and I were blessed it touch on 3 sides on my little brothers land.but his home was saved. Many live stock was lost and many pets. I m here to ask for prayers for the all the people in our County Hutchinson and the rest of the panhandle. So much destruction. Thank you!
It’s hard to imagine people that are more unaware of cooking terms. I can’t remember a day when I wasn’t expected to cook, even as a child. Love watching your videos! 😊
Same, it's the first thing I watch for the day! I love how they banter with each other, but at the end of the day, they are still in love with each other and the whole family! My husband and I do the same thing, and he is my world couldn't be without him! ❤
Norma here. It’s a good thing you two work together. Dan STILL doesn’t know the difference between a tsp. and a tbsp. Dan has no idea how to fold and Lou has no idea how to dot butter. Too funny Paw Paw wearing a gate chain around his neck and Buddy swinging his hair. Kim trying to say she’s full and Bri spitting out cooked peaches. All hilarious. 😅😅😅 Gotta love these Morrow get togethers. Oh, and sweet Kash blowing the horn. 😊😊
You’re giving us all a heart attack with the “dot with butter” … we’re all yelling at our screens! 🤣 You guys have the weirdest things that trip you up!😂 Dani’s getting good at being “horny” 🤣😂🤣
I so miss sitting around the kitchen table with all of my family talking at the same time! What I would give for those days to come back. ❤❤❤ I love your family!
Dan and Lou I think it would be better if it was cold. But I wanted you to cook Scrapple and taste that. Rapa Scrapple is made in Delaware and when you fry slices of it it is so good. Now I will say not everyone likes Scrapple but most Marylanders and a portion of Virginia and Pennsylvania love it. Delaware has a Scrapple Festival and it draws over 25k attendees.
Dan & Lou great video both pies looked great Can’t wait for your next Cooking show. PawPaw’s getting Hip coming over with his hat an chain Look’n good 👍🏼
Lordy spent my drink out when PawPaw walked in! 😂He had said he was going to find a big chain but no clue he was going to take it off the swing! Y’all and your pie comments you embarrassed yourselves 🤣another great video and always a fun time with y’all! Never thought of Delaware being peachy … always thought Delaware was known for Crab but then again … Kentucky does have better known food than just Fried Chicken, so guess Delaware can have pie.
I love listening to you two as you cook! I am not an expert in baking so loved hearing Lou keep asking about dotting the butter! I just imagine our children cooking and baking if they lived with you guys!! I guess that’s why I love Bake with Jake!! So funny 😊love it and learning with you!! Keep it up guys
Really Georgia is the best peaches the state of Georgia is where are you go and get the peaches Delaware I’ve been to Delaware plenty of time and I never ever heard people making peach pie
Hi Dan, have you missed my smart mouth comments? I sure miss your answers. 😂😂😂😂 I’m glad to be back and watch Lou whoop you on cooking. LOU WINS!!!! I can’t believe you cut that on the counter top without a board. Lou’s showed of hit you with that pie.😂🤣😂🤣
I think one of you should have made a dutch crust. I bet that would have won. A dutch crust is where it has the crumbled, struesel topping on top instead of the traditional pie crust. You two were cracking me up! 😂
So much fun, I love your videos they are great . It's a good mix of cuteness and humor. Your family cracks me up, I can't get enough of the banter, sass, and jokes! Also, apologies on behalf of mean and entitled humans because you have a few followers like that, I see them in the comments, ugh. But I'd like to think most of us love the content and are grateful for the entertainment. I like your travel videos too. And the tractor/project videos. I just enjoy watching them all👏📷🎥
Can Pawpaw get any funnier? I loved it! The difference in people’s likes and dislikes is so unusual. I grew up on peach cobbler (same flavor basically.) Our family couldn’t get enough. Can’t imagine not liking fruit just because it was cooked. But that (and all the hard work) is probably part of the reason Bri stays so slim.
Your latticework looked great, but I can tell you exactly why the crust was too sweet. Never put the sugar in the egg wash, do it afterwards so you can see the “dusting” of sugar that should cover the crust top, not the painting!😂 This was a great episode though. Dan, you cracked me up when you shouted FOLD? And I love it when a big strong man, who can measure and cut things, can’t figure out teaspoons and tablespoons!😂😂❤
Great video!! Both of the pies looked delicious!! Love seeing all the family come in for the taste testing. PawPaw with his cowboy hat and chain!!😄 Dan I thought you were taller than PawPaw but he’s taller than you. Hope you and Lou have a wonderful day.❤️❤️
I've been so good on my desserts. But now I'm going to have to make a peach cobbler this weekend. Dog gon it🤷🏻. Pops was hilarious with his hat and chain. Loves y'all's relationship. I could have sworn I caught a look between Kim and Lou🤣😂😂😂
PawPaw and Dan look like Twins! Both pies look great. I love peach pie. Ingredient wise, if I made one, I’d probably follow Dan’s recipe, because of the nutmeg and vanilla. If you ever make it again, switch out the granulated power to half brown sugar and half granulated. I also sometimes add just a drip of almond flavoring. But, that might throw you guys over the edge.
Omg😂😂😂😂Kim has me rollin all the time. And then theres Pawpaw...his humor is on point😂. I love him. I would probably hurt myself laughing if I hung out with him and Kim..seriously! You did a good job on your lattice with no experience. Good thing lou covered you edge with that wash and the sugar. They both looked real nice. Peach pie / Peach cobbler are my Favorites.
Nutmeg and mace are awesome spices but they tear my tummy apart. Dan, you were on the right track but too much cinnamon and sugar on top. It made your pie sweeter. I make little cinnamon rolls out of pie dough rolled out thin like a pie crust. Spread generously with soft butter. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture on top of butter. Roll snugly into a log. Cut into about 2 inch pieces. Lay on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees- like a pie crust- cooking time varies. The thicker the roll the longer it takes to cook. If you like pie crust with cinnamon and sugar you will love these. It’s a family favorite here. God’s blessings
The only difference in the recipe was Dan added nutmeg to his and used an egg wash. I love fresh peaches, but I agree with Bri, canned peaches don’t taste the same.
Cutest buzz llight year ever seen You make me want to now bake one- family says thanks 😊 another great family meal together They both looked great Thanks for sharing your time Next request- cook off with Jake the baker Stay safe 🙏✌️🥧🤗👍
Love Paw Paw !!! Styling his chains 😂❤😅 It took me a while to stop laughing 😂🤣😂 I even had to stop the video, sorry, Dan!! Then Buddy tops it off with the hair😂❤🤣❤😅 Dan, I think you forgot to ask Stephanie?¿? Or I just missed her vote
Never would've never guessed Delaware for peach pie and I have family who live there. Georgia is known for peaches maybe that's why it's made from a can and not fresh peaches. Buddy is so funny.
I am an old lady but for so many years I have kept a restruant style sugar shaker filled with sugar and cinnamon…this is what I put on the kids cinnamon toast and on my apple pies..with or without doing an egg wash. More sugar and just a bit of cinnamon…cinnamon is strong so u need to do as u like.
PawPaw is absolutely hilarious! Lol. I think both pies looked great and I'd call it a draw, everyone liked both. And peach pie with vanilla ice cream, perfection. 🥰
