Cooking with Dan and Lou... the only official cooking show where you hear real conversations like in our own kitchens....... Lou : "did you just call me a ho?"... Dan: "well?" .......Lou: "you're slingin meat everywhere".... Dan: "it ain't the first time" - 😁
I think it is a common man way of communicating. I have to deal with it. I get “pissy” when I have had enough of being talked to like I don’t know anything. Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars.
Meatballs are always made with bread crumbs and eggs, I am Italian and we also add grated cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper and parsley than you mix together. Dan, Lou knows how to cook don't talk down to her.. love watching ya'll
@@marymcelvain4Why if you like jalapenos then put jalapenos in. It doesn't always have to be Italian meatballs. We even do meatballs in brown gravy. Make it the way your family likes it.
It tickles me when ya'll run to the counter....I enjoy watching ya'll play off each other....Hilarious....Your three grandbabies there is priceless....Little Bubba sure loves his PawPaw ❤
Lou, use dawn power spray to on your shirt to get any sauce or grease out. Check before putting in the dryer. Treat again if not all cones out. I have use it on set in stains that have been really old. Got the stains out.
Dan, Lou is 100% correct about the eggs and bread crumbs. They are a binder to keep the meatballs together. I like your sausage addition, you should try chorizo next time. It's absolutely delicious! 🤗😋
Lou and Dan, if you start making frozen beer or favorite alcohol😊 into a pacifier, give it to the cranky people who complain about your show. Your relationship is real and I envy you because you have a real thing going on. Stay true
Another job well done! Our family makes hamburgers just like we do our meatloaf. We call them..Burgers in Sauce. Of course the burgers are made just like you would your meatloaf and add whatever you prefer. We add the fresh onions peppers, etc. Then the burgers are added to your sauce as you did your meatballs. We also add the eggs and breadcrumbs but we add milk as well so the burgers don't end up hard. Let them cook a few hours serve on hamburger buns of your choice and you talk about delicious! Love y'all and thank you for inviting us into your kitchen each week and around your table. So much fun here in the banter as it brings back so many good memories. Take care and have a beautiful weekend 💜
Dan putting the egg and bread crumbs in the Hamburger meat is a binder to hold the shape of the meatballs , to stay together while cooking . They look so awesome after yall got them together . Will give these a try . Love from Southwest Louisiana 😊
Uncle Dan the nread crumbs and the eggs 🥚🥚 are binders to hold the meatballs together.... Listen to Lou.... Great video, love watching and thank you for sharing your life and family with us...❤❤❤❤❤ God Bless 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Y’all’s meatball Subs looked delicious ! Couldn’t hear the family conversations while y’all were eating but everyone loved the sandwiches!! Great fun by all as usual ! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
Dan with the meatballs you need to have a binder of some sort so that all of the ingredients stick together and combine to cook correctly so they don't fall apart while cooking them. It's the same when making meat loaf. You adding in jalapenos sounds like a great idea to add some spice and flavor. I absolutely love the banter that you and Lou have. I have never been married or had kids but I truly believe that having that banter back and forth is essential in a relationship with each other especially when you know that you are the one that loves each other especailly over the years. You guys are a great example of how marriage should work! Love your cooking shows and your outdoor activities 🙂
I always add egg and breadcrumbs to meatballs, and my homemade hamburgers and my homemade meatloaf. It just makes it tackier if that’s the word. Nice and easy to work with and they don’t fall apart after cooking.
I put freshly grated italian cheeses, asiago or parm or others and grate them myself in my meatballs and i bake my meatballs in the oven. It gets rid of some of the fat or grease. Freshly grated cheese give it more flavor than cheese it bag, especially in meatballs or even in spaghetti sauce.
The one thing about Lou is that she has such an expressive face that you’ll never have to know what she’s thinking. All you have to do is look at her and you’ll know you two are just too cute together. 💕 Keep up the good work take care and be safe. Thanks for sharing ❤😂🤠
@@daniel_morrow_outdoors its a lot for the both you of once a week. Maybe change it to once a month :) either way I love watching the both of you. You both remind me so much of me and my hubby.
Norma here. Dan, you are too funny. Of course the breadcrumbs and eggs need to be mixed into the meat. Everyone knows that!!! I usually add all the ingredients at once and then mix it all together with my hands. Try not to over work the meat because it makes the meatballs too tough and not tender. Just enough to combine all the ingredients. BTW, I also add grated Parmesan to the mixture and a little tomato sauce as well. Of course, you needed to add jalapeños to give it your own touch. lol. I’ve been baking my meatballs, but fried meatballs do taste a whole lot better. Meatball boats are a crowd pleasing dinner for sure. I know that I would love them. Meatballs are my absolute favorite ever since I was a kid.
Gunner has been up in the front pasture of ISS cause Sadie has been in heat but she's at the vet today getting fixed. Your two food looks good exept for the jalapeños. I love your two's interactions.
When I make my hamburger loaf I put a box of stove top stuffing and a egg and a cup of water mix in the hamburger, it’s delicious! Very much like your meatballs!
Hi Folks; Lou just wanted to mention for spots on your clothes. Just purchase spray and wash. Spay it on whatever needs to be cleaned and let sit overnight. Wash in cold water.
I love watching you two cook more than anything I watch!! Plus all the side eyes and snipping remarks. Lol. I ALWAYS love to watch anything you guys do!! This girl from chattanooga loves you
I would tease my granddaughter Bethany that I was going to put her feet in cement blocks to keep them on the ground, she was always doing flips, cartwheels, and dancing just like B-Grace. She did a couple years of gymnastics and has been in cheer for the last 4 years.
The meat ball boats look so good. Using the fresh hamburger is the best tasting meat and the only way to use for meat balls. Lou is right egg and bread crumbs mixed in the meat is the only way. Never heard of dipping meat in the egg then roll in crumbs, lol. The boats look good and I know they were delicious. Subway have gone down hill for a while now. I will never go again . There are other places to go to cheaper and taste better. You and Lou make the best cooking show ever. I don't watch the ones on t v only Dan and Lou's real cooking show. I love you guys and have a blessed day..
Subway is ridiculous. I love Fire House Subs. Even all the ingredients are fresh. 😊 Lou you can add seasoning to your sauce to make it your own. The meatball boats look amazing. 😊
This is REALLY my favorite to watch. Food you might actually eat and or have the ingredients. Even when it's something new, you tackle it and have fun doing it. Better than Hell's kitchen roflmao! I live for the jokes/Lu getting the best of Dan is priceless lmao! Dan I love you too but it's hilarious when Lu is right and you aren't lmao! I liked the little chit chat at the end too.
Firehouse Subs are awesome! I love Jersey Mike’s too! We have them both here in Ohio, I don’t like Subway… Your meatball subs looked great! Now I need to make me some meatballs!
I'd love to see a cook off between Lester and Dan 😁😁😁😁 no help from the ladies ... Ole Dan has become quite the chef extraordinaire and coupled with the Morrow competition spirit Episode #30 would be very interesting to see!!!
Dan you would argue with a tree if you could get a reaction! Always put egg in my meatloaf and meatballs. I now make mine with ground beef and ground pork. The taste is amazing.
Dan needs a bigger bowl to mix his meat…..LOL and it’s a wonderful thing to be able to share time with your family! Bubba needs a cowboy hat because he is a mini Dan! All the kids are beautiful/handsome!
I love cooking with Dan and Lou. It’s one of my favorite shows. I hope Gunner comes home. he is one of my favorite bloodhounds. Hope you guys have a groovy day.☮️❤️
Great video today! Two suggestions..1. Instead of pressing down the inside of the rolls, tear out some of the breading and use in place of breadcrumbs in the meatballs 2. Use jar pizza sauce in place of marinara sauce since you don’t need so much and trying to achieve the pizza flavor. I noticed you had quite a bit marinara left over.
Lol Lou asks "did you just call me a Ho"? Love you guys and your sense of humour 😂. Im definitely going to make these meatballs tomorrow for our supper !! Thanks again for an entertaining video!!!
IF YOU MUST USE JAR SAUCE USE. RAO'S. YOULL NEVER MAKE SAUCE AGAIN. IT'S THAT GOOD! DAN & LOU. I CANT BELIEVE IT. I PASS UP EVERYONE INCLUDING COG HILL TO WATCH COOKING WITH DAN & LOU YOU 'ALL ARE THAT GOOD, ENTERTAINING & FUNNY. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. NURSE JUDI IN SCOTTSDALE AZ AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTER. MANY PRAYERS 💙 FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUCCESS. THX LESTER. SOME HAVE IT, & SOME DONT. WERE JUST GRATEFUL 🙏🏻 YOU TALKED DAN INTO STARTING A CHANNEL. 🙏🏻
Dan,your breadcrumbs and eggs are known as the binders. If you put them on the outside it doesn't work to hold the meatballs together and they will turn into meat crumble
Hey Dan. You always saying your up to learning. So here goes. Lou is absolutely correct. Making meatballs you need a binder - eggs and breadcrumbs. The other lesson would be - put all the ingredients in at the beginning, then mix it all up. (Your going to think on this next comment) if you play with your meat too much it makes the meatballs too firm. You want a more tender meatball- don’t mix it too much. Enjoy your meal.
We used to have an Orange Julius here in Canada and they had a pizza dog that I loved. I later learned they quit making them and then I learned how to make them at home. I had to use foil and wrap the bottom of the dog to keep the cheese from spilling over and the bun from drying out. Sooo good.
Good Morning Daniel & Lou! The race to the counter...👍🤣😂👏😊 I watched it twice. 👏😉 I love it! I love your recipes & it's awesome watching you cook together. Then I love the family's reaction to the food you cooked. Asking everyone what they thought of the new recipes. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 Meatball "floats" 😂🤣 & "boats". You 2 are the sweetest couple. 👍😊👏
Wow, they looked amazing Dan and Lou, and Lou, your hair always looks so immaculate, your one beautiful lady and your an amazing couple, much ❤️ Granny Linda, here in the UK 👍💕🐾😊
