Glad to see this video, a friend of mine uses a griddle like this in the house to make smashed burgers, I was wanting a smaller one and here it is, thanks for the video and I always enjoy your gear/product reviews!
i’ve been thinking about this very thing. the ozark (or lodge) griddle on my coleman stove. it see it fits well and does a great job. Thanks for sharing George i want to get the propane adapter too; to make it dual fuel...
its nice that it has a drip tray. you can do a lot of cooking on it before having to scrub it. You should consider just fixing the original fuel tank for that stove. It is easy and cheap to do. Likely you just need to replace the gasket in the fuel cap and oil the pump.
When IHTF this set up is going to be my galley. I have these and more cast iron. It will work well in my small wall tent abode in the UP NORTH Woods. Best
I definitely will be watching those! I got a few stoves that need some help!! 413G & 413H & a 3 burner too! Been watching Coleman stove videos just to learn how to take care of them... fix them... test and/or replace parts... etc. Hopefully I can get them all running in peak condition!
I love those sausages! I'll eat them cold out of the fridge. Thanks for showing how to season and clean the cast iron. I bought a set a few years ago and just took it out of the box lol. Take care.
That looks like a nice piece of cookware. If I could cook better, I might be able to justify buying it, but I need to get a little better first lol. Thanks for the video. Stay safe out there and God bless!
Wal;mart today online has on clearance a Three piece cast iron Ozark trails set. 10.5" skillet 8" skillet Two sided Griddle Cost $14.99 About $22.00 with tax and ships to your home.
I've always wondered if alcohol stoves with this cast iron since it holds the heat in would be a good match . Anyways thanks for posting this video !! Take care and stay safe !!!
I grew up with Mom cooking on cast iron. The skillet I use now was handed down to me and is older than I am. BTW, I'm turning 59 in a few month. Cast iron is the best, bar none. People today trade easy use disposable crap for a real cooking tool.
Great stove. Mine is the unmodified gas version, and I love it. Great for camping, and I figure if times get hard, gasoline will be easier to get than propane. The only drawback is that only a crazy person would use one indoors (my apologies for impugning anyone who has tried).
Huh? I bought a camp stove today in preparation for hurricane weather over here in the south. I didnt know you shouldn't use them indoors. Smh. I remember my mother used to cook on one in house, when I was little, back in 1950s.
@@dancewitme211 Every time I light my stove when cold, I get a 6 to 12 inch flame from the burner until the gas generator gets hot enough to atomize the fuel. About 2 to 3 minutes. I would never risk my house to that.
Do you smell or taste fuel in your food when you cook on the side of the cast iron griddle that previously operated toward the flames of the Coleman gasoline stove?
