In this video, we go metal detecting in the woods with the Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. We founds lots of newer coins. I also found a horseshoe, a newish folding knife, and an arcade token! I use my Bounty Hunter Junior as a pin pointer.

Fantastic video. I believe the unknown item is the split cover found on most utility knives.

I just Picked up a Bounty Hunter 4. I'm in Upstate New York and it's at the tail end of the winter . Still a little bit too cold to go outside but I'm taking it outside today rainshine or snow I'm finding me something, pull tab , gold nugget , don't matter .It's a good way to get out the house and have some fun .

I’ve noticed that if you hunt when the ground is still soft, you can get a better reading sometimes. Also, frost heaves can help lift the coins closer to the surface. Mowing and walking over soil can push coins further down.

I have a tracker 4 I picked up at the hobby store, I’ve found some stuff with it havnt really dedicated a real day to use it, I’m worried it isn’t a very good detector it has so many false alarms and the tones are difficult to distinguish and the back and forth constant motion isn’t that desired although I did find a 1700s Catholic metal with baby Jesus and st Michael also it says Italy on it crazy and it will detect over a foot no joke !

There is definitely a learning curve. That goes with the territory for any metal detector. It took me a while to get used to mine. The key is research, think about what happened on the spot you are searching in the past, and go slow if you turn up the notch to get fewer signals.

@@thriftingncollecting when you guys are saying I just got a 30 or a xx number for example your going off the tone that would be made for the desired target such as silver gold ect? I actually can’t put the tracker 4 down it’s very good for the price that’s why I bought it because I did my research and Due diligence I’m just not a very good hunter which makes me sad because I’m also a bullion and coin collector and if I could find old rare pieces that would be amazing , and yeah where I come from in the states there was alot of wars, that being said I’d hate to dig up a something I shouldn’t you know that would be so scary how do you combat that like what if you dig up something that’s harmful or still active in asking serious questions because it’s a serious situation it’s not all about gold and silver I mean what if you get electrical lines or some thing it’s not what I think about usually but it has crossed my mind. Any suggestions or advise and I really appreciate you responding to me bro I really like your channel ! Thumbs up 👍
