This entire movie is amazing. This scene so well directed. From dragline saying "he made it" to the captain simply turning and walking inside in disgust.
man i love prison escape films (although I know CHL is more than that), i've literally had countless dreams exactly like this where Im running for it, leaping over stuff just trying to get to freedom. Very cathartic to watch
While using a mocking tone of voice Luke said: "What we have here is a failure to communicate!" The man with no eyes sees things very, very differently. BOOM!
@@adriamaral300 had nothing to do with parking meters!!! They killed him because all the other inmates had their minds right, theirs only a few guards and if they lost control it would be anarchy!!!
@@adriamaral300 The fact that Luke broke the rules they hold dear is why he was killed.. Conform and, obey... Luke would not do so.. Thus, making him an example for all..
I read that the dog accidentally hung itself with its leash jumping off a bridge in the filming of this scene. - Supposedly they actually featured footage of the hanging in the theatrical release; and it was taken out for at home release. They replaced it with the edited scene where he claims death by exhaustion. I must say, that looks like an authentic dead dog.
Reminds me of the cajun Deacon Candidate of the Roman Catholic Church, now class of 2025 not 2024, who has been more and more a part of my life for decades; He is covert malignant Narcissist. I am not rebellious.
I’m always confused about the scene before this one . It’s not in the video but it shows him running through the river being chased by Blue seemingly during the morning but when the scene is cut to the Bosses waiting for the Police it’s completely dark?? Tf happened??
If you've ever been around a blood hound (or any hound) once you run them a bit, they just do that. I have a rhodesian ridgeback and she sleeps hard after a run.
That's a waste of time to do , the dogs can smell you at the next post you were at but a good idea though . He should had grabbed some burlap and wrapped them around both feet and walk in every barnyard chit and hope that would toss off the scent .
