Your right, and this brings me to some bad news... I am deleting this video. The reason being is because I edited the video to coincide with my mom and I's relationship. The good news is that I will re-record it and will not do any modifications in order to preserve this masterpiece. One more thing.... I will improve the quality because this video was done while in the car, and little to no effort. ANNOUNCMENT: I am deleting this video tomorrow. 9/11/22
This scene is amazing. It’s the 1950s in rural Florida and his mother is a very warm, likable, and nonjudgmental person that’s disappointed at Luke’s poor decisions, but engages with him and they have a good time visiting. But when he’s giving his nephew some words of wisdom, she looks crushed and upset at him.
No the way she looks at Luke and she loves Luke more than his brother but his brother was faithful and so he gets the property. But she tells him- either the mother's got feelings for a child or not and she always had feelings for Luke. And she tells him- laugh it up kid you'll make out. Luke tries to downplay it before that saying you never did want to live forever and she counters with she had some good times. I guess we all live with regrets in the end when we're faced with mortality. That's all I can say. She says I guess I just got to love you and let you go and that's the most that a mother can say
Florida state penitentiary department. Road crew maintenance facility #31 low risk inmates work detail. “ some times it seems you got things fixed so I can’t win out “
Saw it in '68 when I was twelve and liked it. Saw it again when I was nineteen and sobbed afterwards. They hold nothing back in this scene--except meaningless dialogue and pointless jump cuts.
Meaningless dialogue?? There's all sorts of meaning packed in there with the simplest language imaginable. It's got a natural feel, even though it's expository. Very hard to write and act.
