Hi Gavin, I’m a novice to Tamiya RC and have decided to start my first build with this Porsche 911 RSR. Great Build & Mod VDOs you put out, very informative as well as entertaining. Really enjoyed watching them. Thank you so much for all the tips. Have you put out a Running VDO of your and Rebecca’s RSR? Would love to see them running on the roads.
Hi, Good choice, it's a stunner when finished. A bit of running in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9tMOLLxaPKI.htmlsi=Mg635gVxEGkQ-Q5J
Well done on the Porsche..... But more importantly well done on the 4K subs!!!. I’m 49 now and between you and Glen(Tamiya legends). I’ve re- lived some memories of this great little hobby. Keep up the good work👍👍👍👍
Have used this LED unit in my other Tamiya cars. It does work good but is large. I do have the Tamiya Porsche 934 Jagermeister car. I used the Tamiya LED TLU-01 for the front and rear lights. I also used the Tamiya TLU-02 light unit too. This LED unit gives you "turn signal indicators and also back-up lights too. It is very cool but very hard to set-up. Why? the instruction manual is not very clear. You could get this unit and show how to set it up. You will be surprised to find out how difficult this is to set-up. This could help you get even more people looking at your channel. Just a thought. Congrats on 4000 subs!!
Love the Carrera mod vids! Thanks for helping me narrow down which buckets to look for! I'd use some glasses when trimming the plastic; with a new pair of cutters they can fly. Ask me how I know LOL. Subbed!
*CONGRATULATIONS* on reaching 4000!!! 🎉🍻🎉🍺🍹 The CC-02 is HIGH on my Dream List. I've known a couple of People who have built it, and like it. But the Stickers are a MAJOR Faff!!!! 😖 I'd love that Porsche Body. I built a TT02 about 2 years ago, PIECEMEAL. It was the only way I could afford to, but I got a couple of upgrades along the way. I don't recommend it though. It netted me the most expensive TT02 in History when finally done, at $246.00!!! 😳😳 And I STILL can't get a Body for it. Not one of my smarter decisions! Carmine ✈🚂🚙
You're already done? Can't wait to see your opinion and overview. So.... You now know about the fiddly little Decals? I still want to get and build one - but I'll likely sell the G-Wagen Body untouched.... I want that Chassis under my CC-01 Landfreeder!! Maybe I'll piecemeal that Chassis too....
@@justrelax3323 Well...its also not PorschA....that would be female name. Its just how it is spelled....PorschÄ .... but its a piece of crap anyways. As an austrian can say there is no car I hate more than this one.
The videos are great! I am looking for the 934 light buckets here in the US to no avail. I am only finding universal Lexan type light buckets. Are there any other known alternatives to add buckets to the RSR?
hello friend, I'm thinking of buying a tamiya kit identical to yours! 😃 just for hobbie use even fun, do you recommend it? Or would you recommend other car models? another doubt, the hobbywing quicrun 1060 esc brushed, does it fit the original motor that comes in the kit? How do I get headlight bulbs like yours? Thanks in advance for the beautiful videos on the channel, success with the channel...
Yep, its an easy kit to get into for sure. Check when you purchase the kit as these do come with an ESC included most the time so you wont need to purchase a HobbyWing esc. The kit motor is fine so stick with that for now. I would get a set of bearings for it before you build the kit. The headlights came from another Tamiya Porsche kit that you can add down the line if you wish. You will need to get some Tamiya PS paint for the body.
Hello, I have a Tamiya tt02 as well, and have had numerous issues with it. One issue that I can't seem to resolve is one of the screws that twists into the plastic chassis of the car got stripped. The screw would turn endlessly, and would fall out while driving, which made steering the car impossible. I tried putting in a larger screw, and that screw snapped in half, and now there is half of a screw stuck there and I can't get it out. I have no idea what to do, and spent so long building and painting the body for this kit, I am not excited to take on this issue. Do you have any advice? Thanks!
hello friend, nice car! im going to buy a kit from this tamiya tt02! Do you think it's interesting that I consider buying the upgrade kit from yeah racing for this car? Yeah Racing Red Aluminum Conversion Kit for Tamiya TT02 #CK-TT02RD
Loads of upgrades you can do with a TT02. I would try and find a TT02 SR kit as you get a good chunk of upgrades in the kit and it works out good value. Don’t go for the TT02 SRX as it’s loads more but you don’t get much for the extra money over the SR
