Hello, if you would like to stay away from firing stones, you would need to create a bezel beforehand, accounting for shrinkage, and set your stone inside the bezel once fired. You can also set your stones in place with tab settings. There are many stones that can fired without issue. We have a Gemstone Firing Guide, which shows each gemstone that can and cannot be fired, at what temperature, and for how long. Hi Danielle, yes these can be put in a tumbler. For firing the czs, it would all depend on what type of cz you are working with.
