Fun fact Coolers ground level 3 does not work against the following charcters supers: Both Android 16's level 3's because they're both grabs Beerus level 3 because it is a grab Trunks level 3 because it is a grab Both Tien's level 3's: His Chioatzu level 3 because it's considered a grab and oddly his Neo Tri Beam level 3 because on startup this move throws Tien high into the air. the game for some reason ignores this and Cooler vanishes behind where Tien would be standing if he where on the ground, however Tien's fall is delayed causing the super to whiff.

2 little extra points (I know this is months old by now): 1. Cooler's ground lvl. 1 is actually invincible after startup and goes through basically any other lvl 1 and even some lvl 3s. 2. His divekicks in the air make it possible to dodge vanish a lot of the time.

Coolers grounded lvl 1 has invincibility frames, it can even go through lvl 3s

Of the eight (season pack), Cooler it's now one of my favorites. Not the fastest but he has a large variety of "hits"/techniques and combos with very crazy damages. Thanks for thoses guides

When starting a combo with 5M, before you finish with a H to the wall, you can also do a Ki blast right before for some extra damage. As long as your close to your opponent, you can do M, CM, f+H, S, H, and then continue from there.

There's a lot of combo potential he missed out on unfortunately. I would suggest looking up some color combos once you get used to him. Trust me, I'm astonished at what he can do just by himself.

Cooler's command heavy can naturally chain into his beam on reaction and setup for a vanish combo. A good thing to know when playing midscreen. (Edit): down forward heavy not his command heavy my b

I have a team of Vegito, Cooler, and Bardock as my line up currently. I think its pretty good, vegito build the key up for Bardock and cooler to use then switch back out when necessary.

EXTRA FACT: His grounded level 1 can ALSO go through everything, including other supers, however, it only goes through stuff after the initial animation, so it's best doing it on reaction rather than raw.

You can naturally combo into his medium dive kick. If you have your opponent in the corner and hit them with a standing heavy, instead of doing the super dash, dive kick them. Why would you do that? If you do a super afterwards, it scales really really well.

You can actually combo into med dive kick If you vanish hit high enough in the air then wait a second you can throw out med dive kick and combo into super

Yep, the only thing I've found that can counter Cooler's _counter_ Lvl3 outside of grabs is Tien's Lvl3s (including Chiaotzu given that it technically a grab as well).

Is it possible to get a sliding knock down at the end of a vanish combo. I main goku ssj and tien and I love the fact that they get a sliding knock down so unbelievably easy. If he can't can someone maybe tell me who can. Thanks in advance

You are misinformed about multiple moves @thetrueunderdawg. For example, you can use j.2Hnto combo into all dive kicks and you can use a J.l after j.m. It's going to confuse ppl but they will figure it out if they play cooler for a few minutes.

Neo Tri beam cant be countered. I mean the counter works but since Tien is nowhere on the screen cooler just grabs air. I dont know if this changes if Tien keeps bombarding you with it.

dreaded sage third person on the team is an anchor! Point is a character that benefits from assists but doesn’t necessarily do well solo. Building meter is also good for a point character. Anchors should be stable as the last character standing or offer a good assist so it’s worth having him till the end because he benefits the team so much. The second position is the wild card in my opinion.

Just delay your input for Lv3 a little bit until Cooler is in the air at the same height as the opponent and its easy.

How is this a "master guide" when theres inaccurate information which people keep pointing out in the comments also theres no mention of his fuzzy guard or his option select or safe jump setups you know the high lv stuff necessary to be good with him
