Good grief Smoak, the way you been stroking those BMW's You would think you were getting paid for advertising. They did do a good job On that exclusive though. Gold rims Would be way too much It's perfect just like it is.

Great thing about KLIM, MOTORFIST, North Face, Spyder Ski wear with gortex they all help wick away moisture. But if you're wearing a cotton T-shirt or cotton over shirt, the cotton retains moisture, you sweat, the sweat then starts to freeze...den ya in trouble. Kotton kills as they say..

Hi Shawn, I’ve been to my local BMW Motorrad dealer in the UK and I agree with you that it’s a beautiful looking machine and if I had £16900 to spare I would definitely purchase it but it’s a serious amount of money.

In the UK the exclusive comes with cast wheels. The black cross spoked wheels look way better but they're a £400 option.

Only proper motorcycle colour (IMO)....just sayin ... I guess the gold wheels is an option? Should really be a choice, I'll go have a look at the configurator ...as it may be 'too much' ?Best range (models and colours) ever for BMW this year I think...

Once it’s secure in our work area, we do that so we don’t loose the customer’s FOB by putting in our pocket, leaving on a bench etc… After the test ride, it reminds us to take the FOB in with the paperwork for the customer. Thanks Martin!! 👍

Apart from the garish yellow stripe I cant see any difference between that and my UK 2018 triple black GS 1200...and in my opinion my triple black is by far the best looking GS by a mile so I guess by default that makes the 1250 damn cool as well... well if it wasnt for that stripe... ;-)

Do you use the Power Shift up & down on your own Bike and if you take out a bike for a test run that's if they have it or do you use the clutch, or both.?

just not a bmw guy. if I had all kinds of money I would have one for an additional bike maybe. since I am limited to 2 by my wife lol I have the 2018 heritage 114 and a sportster. I would never have the time to keep my house and all my wife wants me to do with all you do. wow. cool though.

I've got one mine is the one with out the spoked wheels looks better.put a rear hugger on mine it stops loads of dirt flying around keeps it really clean also front fender extender stops loads of dirt from going all over the engine.engine bars are a must and look smart in stainless steel

I like my front wheel left strait too. It's not just you. Means you can't put the steering lock on. But i have loads of other locks.

I new to BMW Boxers. I ride the K1600B. The new 1250 I know about, but is the GS is purely street? I know the GSA is also off road capable. I'm going to look at a '17 used 7K mile triple black GSA coming in on trade soon, but am told that I want an '18 and newer due the the new screen display. What are your thoughts on how important it is (for use & resale) of that screen?

I have the 1250 Exclusive. I was not that impressed with the look and colour scheme from pictures i had seen but once i actually saw the bike, the colour scheme wowed me. In my opinion the bike overall is so much better than my ex 2017 Exclusive it feels like a different bike and not just limited to the engine. The 1250 feels much more refined, as if it has come of age. Friend collected his 1250 GSA today and after an hours ride he agrees it is so much better and in many ways more that he expected. And NO to the gold wheels. Gold wheels would spoil the look of the bike completely and if it had gold wheels i would not have purchased this bike. Gold is for immature, look at me riders whereas the black wheels, engine and other bits are subtle class.

I'd love an adventure bike, but being 5'6" and (attempting( to sit on every bike at the dealership it's been extremely difficult to even get one foot down. Seems if I got it lowered it would have to be really really lowered

Chance I have the opposite problem being 6’3” The majority of motorbikes are designed for shorter riders however (Asian market) so you have far more choice than a tall rider. Loads of older stuff I like if I wasn’t so tall

I’m barely 5’6” 150 lbs and test rode a 1200GS recently with zero issues. The electronic adjustable suspension helps and if you are an experienced rider you don’t need to flatfoot any bike. Trust me you would be fine.

I think gold rims have been done to death now. F850gs crf250m crf1000l just to name a few.& that new guzzi 85 adv. And some of the duccati scrambler models. I think the T7 should come with blue rims possibly.
