The GTIR lifters / rockers with the spring is so trick also. I would use a ve oil pump and aftermarket trigger kit and machine the block for the difference in head studs for rwd its definitely possible.

I run Penn Grade 20w50 & beat the piss out my sr & when I pull it apart to refresh it everything looks brand new (oil service after ever event)
