Every year it's nice to get one good Shotgun-style blaster, and this year it's the Adventure Force Liberator. A 10-round internal magazine pump-action blaster that loads similar to what you'd expect with something in this design, with decent power and a low price tag making it one of the better purchases you can make this year. Oh, and it has a massive plunger tube. I'm already knee-deep into modding one.

Remember that slug rounds are in shotguns and are only one projectile, so technically it is a shotgun.

True, but it is still a type of shotgun shell, which is why people can't complain that it's mislabeled

People complaining about that are stupid anyways. The Mossberg Shockwave technically isn't a, "shotgun" but it's a goddamned shotgun. If it looks like a shotgun and works like a shotgun it's a shotgun. This very easy fires two shots at once.

@@WalcomS7 yeah but it isn't intended to fire that way...... get rekt scrub and yeah the mossberg is a shotgun it's just not legally classified as a short barrel shotgun because of the raptor grip so you are right about that

This is the perfect shotgun to get because • it’s pretty cheap •I can’t afford the spring thunder • this shotgun is what we have been asking for •and lastly it’s so cool

I think you should sand down the team indicators and then put a custom logo on there and then hot glue it in

Oreozzs i would reccomend epoxy instead because hot glue is messy and rubbery and thick and doesnt dry the best.

I absolutely love this blaster. I’ve been waiting for years for nerf to make something like this and my favorite nerf competitor has made it for a great price. This is now my new favorite primary other than the pyragon or halo blaze if glory.

Nor Cal Nerf Club do you know if it will take K26? Drac said it won’t but not very convincingly. I have K26 laying around but not K25, although K25 is prob better for hitting HvZ levels

@@alexmarin8727 You can probably put K26 in it, but it won't fit either end of the plunger tube properly. It's too small of a diameter. I am finishing a spring upgrade video now and will upload it later.

I just discovered that this can be reloaded with ammo in the tube and how it can load 12 (10 in the tube with 2 in the chamber section. This is the best rival-esque shotgun on the market right now. If you want to know about either trick, comment and I'll respond.

Finger Pinch Top Up FIx modded mine to fix the problem: cut down the hinged ramp so it can be pushed in without trapping rounds/fingers then glued a wedge to the inside of the sliding door so that when closed, the rounds can still roll up (even tho the cut ramp has the tip removed)

An interesting, yet cool designed rival shotgun! Still wish they could figure a way to reload it like a real-steel pump-action, but a nice, reliable sidearm nonetheless. I don’t think it’ll replace my semi-modded titanium as a primary rival springer, but it seems to be a good entry-level blaster

You mean the location of the opening of the tube mag? I think they put it near the front, because putting it near the trigger would result in a longer barrel and that usually doesn't benefit Nerf projectiles.

captsomeguy1 That may be 100% accurate, but I’m sure there’s a way to load it from the back and have it chamber a round in the front. These off-brand blaster companies have done some pretty cool stuff lately, so it’s only a matter of time before they figure something out.

They didn't even bother to send me review samples even though they were really nice to me in person and have ignored my emails these past two months...not sure why, honestly. It makes doing videos like this pretty conflicting because I'm a little mad about it and using credit cards to put myself in debt to give them promotion. My opinion is still very high.

It has a great solid feel, and when it works, it's solid. But I get the issue mentioned in this video and I find out of ten rounds, it'll misfire at least once, and then double fire. It's not consistent and that's frustrating. I've got a sentry x2 and to be honest, it's very similar. It loads better, but again, I find it dry fires more than it should.

The issue you're having is inherent to the design. The loading door pushes the follower back when the blaster is empty, allowing you to load. When you have balls loaded and you try to top off, opening the loading door doesn't do anything, so you end up trying to load a ball into the middle of the stack. You can top off only if you have 1-2 balls loaded. It should make more sense once you see the internals.

great blaster, looks cool and shoots hard, but jams relatively easily (rounds getting stuck under the loading port) and the grip becoming loose after some 30 minutes of use, because of this, it's not my favorite. great try adventure force.

Dude Yes. I love this blaster and I would call it a shotgun because you can double feed intentionally. Great video and awesome content keep up the good work man. personally, i dont call a blaster a "shotgun" unless it fires more than one dart (ball, etc) per shot. this is a pump action blaster. this is fine and good. its just not a shotgun because it does not have the function of a shotgun. the Alpha Trooper and Caliburn are pump action blasters, but no one calls them a shotguns. i understand that this one was going for that form factor aesthetic. that too is fine. i just want it to fire at least 2 units of ammo at once to be called a shotgun. not saying this blaster isnt good in its own right. it seems like a great secondary. id use one. i just dont want to call it a shotgun or at least its not truly intended to fire 2+ at once. many Rival style blasters can, but they arent "supposed to"

Reloading Problems Disappointment Yeah I have the same problem with 'top off' reloading not working. Can't reload if the magazine still has rounds inside; they block the door. Its a major issue; since being able to top off on the fly is the appeal of this style of blaster versus using external magazines. Looking at the internals; the sliding loading door has a little tooth that seems intended to push rounds away from the doorway as it is opened; but the design is flawed and I've only had it actually work 2 times out of....ever.

Honestly yesterday at Walmart I was shopping for insoles for my new shoes and I found 2 of these blasters on the shelf and I immediately no questions asked grabbed it and bought it and I’m happy with it so far but I have the same gripe as you where you can’t top off the magazine and when I try to reload with rounds in it it double feeds and that’s the main gripe I have. P.S. I think mine hits a little softer but idk.

I got out of this hobby because there's no games in my area. College town where the college banned nerf type blasters. So I'd buy blasters and never do anything with them. (I collect action figures now and I'm much happier) but I still love stuff like this, I just dont buy it anymore. Love your videos walcom, thank you.

I got mine in store and I love it!! I just hated one thing about this and its that god awful safety lock.....so what I did was I removed said safety lock and just super glued the safety lock trigger back for cosmetic purposes X3 now mine works perfectly

if you load the balls in there but dont shut the flap and just prime it it will not shoot the first time but then it will shoot two rounds
