Impress with what I saw from Oak Ridge in the first half, shots went in and out for the most part. This teaches Oak Ridge a lot with running against teams like Winter Haven and Columbus. Especially without key players who were out and lack the depth/size to defend Montverde, it shows the players getting more production without being player reliant on jamier jones. as for montverde, they've clearly distant themselves from the rest of the pact, i'd love to see montverde against teams that are built like them not in high school/prep academies but the OTE league.
I don’t understand all these highlight videos on high school basketball and why this vantage point is always used. It is brutal to watch, but I appreciate the ones doing it. There has to be a better way.
I don’t give respect to anybody going against my boys but salute to Oakridge they played good and those coaches coached they ass off ! Salute to the oakridge parents and supporters I gave y’all hell in those stands but yall cheered yall asses off for them boys
hey bro you ready for that montverde vs prolific game tdy, the sophmore on prolific been going crazy. Within the montverde program i heard they dont really mess with img , been have mutual respect with sunrise christian.
@@LE-jg7zb man listen yes I was on deck as usual that stokes boy scares the shit out of me man when he’s a Sr he’s gonna be #1 I see him as a top 5 NBA pick that little big ass boy is like that
@@LE-jg7zb yeah IMG did some sucka shit a few years ago they beat MVA and walked off the court and didn’t shake hands so we repayed them by doing the same thing to them but there’s no respect for img anymore
@@ShakaZulu308 he crazy fs, great game today prolific is tuff but rob and montverde pulled it out, I was watching the live stream but goddamn the refs was ass them niggas had no idea what they was doing. But montverde cant get complacent prolific was missing a top 10 guy mcdonalds all american idk if you saw him on the bench, they should be doing better with him out especially at home, gotta feel for asa and rob for getting snubbed
Why wouldn't they dominate? Many...if not most of the best H.S. talent is poached from their local schools to form " prep" school ALL STAR TEAMS. Montverde is basically half of the McDonald's All American team.
For those of you that feel Montverde did Oakridge dirty or ran the score up this video doesn’t tell the story of that game if you sat in that gym you know Oakridge played their ass off those coaches coached their asses off and I know that team will win a state title the way they played MVA ! At one point I actually thought Oakridge was gonna pull it off so yall need to stop MVA don’t abuse anyone the backups to me tore Oakridge and Imani teams up more than the starters
@samsonhoops I'm not talking about this game. The won the game before that by 87 points. And to answer your question I would say yes. Score but run down the clock. Even in this game they continued to run when they really didn't need to. Sorry but they are obviously running scores up .
@samsonhoops wouldn't you say a 50 point lead at half is pretty safe? Run your plays and slow down the pace. If you score then you score. But don't run up the score. This team would no doubt beat many D1 teams. On some nights they might even be competitive with the Wizards. They have nothing to prove by winning by 87. Do you really think anyone honestly thought Imani Christian had any chance of winning?
@@elindioedwards7041 I agree that they’d probably beat a good amount of d1 teams as most of their players are going to high level programs. But they are not beating any nba team ever. I don’t care if it’s the pistons, it’s not happening. Brian Scalabrine, who averaged 3 points per game in his career, put together “the scallenge”. Four college level players showed up, he 1v1d each of them and beat them by a combined score of 44-6. And for fun he 3v1d some of the people who helped him put it together and beat them 11-1
