I find that really amazing and cool actually, that not only is the vault suit based on his costume, but he inspired the Vault Boy icon

Only thing missing is the blonde hair that would have been perfect

@@Leo.de99this was actually a good plot point. I assume vault tech wanted to do the polar opposite of all of coopers features, after he probably spoke out against them. After hearing his wife in the final episode.

Just a fallout game where you don’t come from a vault just a regular wastelander. That would make it open to being a human or ghoul. But Bethesda games are just too bland at this point.

@ThisIsAHandleOrSomething yeah. The new generation updates help a little bit but not very much. That would be a change of pace instead of starting from the secluded safety of a vault a player would start as a wastelander with a choice of being normal or a ghoul. They did something similar with how new Vegas started. I feel silly saying this but it'd be fun playing as a super mutant. I always wanted to find the mod to play as a death claw. I always dreamed of a deathclaw creature companion to travel with. Edit: I absolutely loved the armor for strong in fallout 4 as well as the armor the other super mutant would wear and it made me want to play as a super mutant a lot more. I could see myself really enjoying myself as a super mutant in the wasteland. Perhaps with a perk tree designed for super mutant players.

I agree I went into the series with low expectations.....I was BLOWN away!! Lucy and Maximus are awesome too but The Ghoul is just stealing the show like Alan Rickman and Morgan Freeman in Robin Hood they were head and shoulders above Kevin Costner, IMO they MADE that Movie!! I eagerly await Season 2!

@@saiyang9088 Well now, Kellogg wasn't exactly a people person after losing his girl, and even before that he was some young blowhard from Sanfran with no connections. While we know of the Ghoul occasionally working with others, only time we hear about Kellogg running with other mercs is that one green outfit he joins up with to train before his life went to shit. Then he became more of a "fuck off unless you're paying me to kill someone" sorta guy. Besides, california's a big place.

Hell, considering both've said it in universe now, it very well could have been a saying that sprung up amongst the soldiers stuck fighting the Chinese in Alaska. We know both served there.

Variation in mutation. Don't think of it like some lore change, it's just different folks getting affected more or less severely. Also mind that a part is just different art directions.

Ghouls are a type of mutant.

Ghouls are zombie mutants exposed to large doses of radiation from nuclear bombs. The first ghouls were called Hasks (Cooper is one) they are ghouls that have retained their humanity and can live up to 500 years. Later ghouls even glowed from radioactive radiation, but quickly descended into madness. Cooper is a unique ghoul because he received the greatest dose of radiation while staying in the soil

He ain't some manner of undead if you're wondering, though he certainly eats people like the namesake. 'Ghoul' is the most common term for folks burned and twisted by radiation but mutated enough to survive despite it, with other nicknames following like 'Zombies'. It doesn't help that a good number of folks who get ghoulified suffer neural degeneration from the radiation, and become aggressive and senseless, attacking normal folk on sight.

@GodsPoisonSamael in Fallout the first survivors became ghouls, preserved but slowly decaying. Mutants were transformed by FEV administered by the Lieutenant. Most are deformed, but some are strong super mutants. The Lieutenant and the Master had the greatest success transforming vault dwellers to super mutants that are super strong and intelligent. I think thus show will have ghouls and super mutants, but not mutants.

@@brettknoss486 I mean, I don't know what you're trying to say but Ghouls *are* mutated humans, hence mutants. The show features quite a few ghouls as well, and we see a Super Mutant either dead or sedated being wheeled on a gurney beneath a sheet in the Enclave compound.
