Hey! He explored! He missed the massive door that he was looking for and is still trying to address a power shortage he could easily solve with uranium rockets... but he explored! I call that progress!

I don't really get why that device and the one for the larva have multiple screens. It just over-complicates it.

After watching this series, I'm convinced that Quill is the type of guy who can't find the condiments in the fridge, especially if they're right in front of his nose. Haha! Poor Essentia!

The DNA manipulator has two (2) screens on it. One tells you the recipes for the other screen. It's generally 1 tree bark, 1 mutagen, and 1 seed.

Really enjoying the lets play. Some questions: - when will he discover the ultimate power of recipe pinning? - when will he discover that there are new plants you can pick up for more o2 production No spoilers just some things you should do not to miss huge things that happen: - Look under water. Something happened there. - Randomly look to the south in the beginner area. There will happen something.

oh man, quill I love ya man, sometimes its hard to sit and watch quietly but that's part of the charm, its almost like watching a horror movie and yelling at the protag to not split off and go into the blood drenched room covered in body parts where the killer is actively wandering. when the time comes for quill to look at the comments and sees everyone saying to just launch more asteroid rockets I would love to see the lightbulb turn on over his head but until then it will be fine, and honestly quill even though it may not seem too super interesting as a content, even just having those moments where you wander to collect materials can be entertaining, I know I generally throw your videos on so I have someone in the background talking so I don't fully feel alone as i play my single player games. I also do have a feeling that he isn't looking at the comments as to preserve his "spoiler free 'first look'" at the game

Considering how cheap it is, I suggest dividing this not-too big map into sections and putting an oxygen cube room in all of them, this way you always have oxygen in reach. How many of those depends on how big of a sector resolution you care to invest in

The ingredients aren't hard to find. Build one when you need it and just leave it there. Pick up more ingredients for the next one you need. 3 iron, 2 titanium, 1 silicon. Add 3 iron if you want a storage cabinet and an iron and a silicon to make a blueprint decoder if you're going into a ship or something.

Never built a map information rocket myself. found it far more fulfilling to discover what could be mined in each biome. Finding the S.Alloy mine was was joy. MIR takes away from that.

Quill: Oh look! New interesting places that i haven't explored before! I'll just go there offscreen and pick up resources since it probably isn't interesting. Commenters: Noooooooo! Also, while he was trying to google the map information rocket i was really hoping he would end up on the general rockets page and get tipped off that you can launch multiple rockets of the same type. You've got the rocket information screen! Please, for the love of Uranium, do some A/B testing!

Also, i'm a little worried... *spoilers for the Warden keys* Since he walked right past the place where the Altar directed him towards, if he uses this Warden Key in the second chain the the lore thread and follows those clues before he goes back to the door he looked at and then walked right past, will he still have a Warden Key left to open it at the end of the chain? Or is it possible to lock himself out of that first door forever?

You don't need a uranium mine mid game, only use uranium asteroid attraction rockets.

Quill, you look but you do not see. There are at least 3 gold chests in areas you have traversed multiple times. I know it's a video series, but slow down and enjoy the game.
