Quill18 wants to rule the world. What could possibly go wrong?
Tune in to one of the biggest strategy gamers on RU-vid as he conquers his foes in strategy and simulation games, like Civilization, Europa Universalis, SimCity, and Dwarf Fortress. Marvel at his vast knowledge about bananas. Boggle at his total inability to pronounce city names correctly. Treasure that you aren't one of his overworked, underfed, and oft-sacrificed citizens.

Note that many courier services (UPS, etc...) don't deliver to PO Boxes. You may want to consider regular post.
You can manually look at what types of units a nation has in an army via looking at their barracks. Also you can compare the power projection of the army (or navy) if you hover over the amount of units.
Quill about to learn where Sankt Petersburg is irl @23:00 Also, poor laws will lower the number of radicals by a ton, even if the tool tip on the law itself, doesn't clearly state it.
29:30 and you are correct Quill, that's St Petersberg - historically it would've become Petrograd around this time, but since you ARE the great war, it would still have been the capital of the empire; Moscow hadn't been the capital in 100 years and wouldn't be again till the rise of the USSR.
What you learned this episode, Quill, is that Finland and North Korea are separated by a single country. That Korean-Russian land border is real in the modern day.
FYI one of the largest coal mines in Kyuushuu was a small island that got entirely covered by a small town and mining buildings. It's nickname is called Gunkan Jima (battleship island) and it was the setting of a James Bond movie.
*When the streamer says they won't update for a few days, then uploads the next day~* "The fact he says he is not the lisan-al-gaib is just what we'd expect of the lisan-al-gaib!" Praise Quill, what a lovely surprise start to our weekend~
I hope that you, as a content creator, never fall victim to a company choosing to use your content to train their AI without your permission or payment as was done with Dall-E. I sincerely hope your use of such an unregulated tool is merely a goof for the meme of the episode and not something you are embracing on the regular.
Chat - "Generic Storage Full" is a bug because the Woodcutters reserves a log Quill - Oh! It's because the Logging Camp is full, maybe it'll fix it if I have more oxen 😮💨 no Quill, it's a bug, you can't magically just fix those lol
I wouldn't say Quill complains often about phone calls. I've never heard him complain outside of receiving a phone call. I even seem to recall one occasion that he didn't complain when receiving a phone call; it was about a TreatStream however. 🙃
In the tabletop rpg Eclipse Phase there is a faction called The Ultimates, transhumanist human supremacists, summed up by their founders motto "If one can improve, one must improve" you founded the Ultimates. I was curious, but now you have my interest, interest in seeing where you go with this.
A 'pink skill' in RimHud represents a skill that has reached it's daily learning limit, dropping any further XP gain for the day by -80%. The treshhold is 4000 XP (net gained).
As far as I know, if you can afford lightball and loudspeakers, dance parties are just superior to social parties. Dance parties (drum parties for tribals) give higher mood boost and have a chance to give +20% global work speed on fun/unforgettable. Maybe, if you do multiple rituals consecutively, different ones stack mood boosts better than same ones.
Haven't finished the episode to see if you change this or not yet, but just had to take a moment to say... I love it how almost immediately after commenting you don't want the bed under the vent so there isn't cold air blowing on the couple as they sleep, you put the crib directly under the vent.
hahaha, i thought that too. But we are just *storing* the crib there for now. There is no baby... we will *of course* move it to a better location if a baby is born!
Silly cyberphile, natural biology is literally wild nanotechnology, and I mean that iRL. You are already a machine, just one optimised for pan-generational survival instead of quality of life or anything like that. ie, that annoying use-it-or-lose it aspect that necessitates regular exercise? Adaptive biology that gives you what you need and little more, which means you don't burn more calories than you need, which means you're more likely to survive famine and the ilk. Bioengineering can fix that, but nanotech isn't the best for every application and function, which means a hybrid of bio+cyber is probably optimal iRL - possibly with a lot of the cyber components being built by your body.
I think Quill's issue with this game is that he tends to be tunnel vision. He sets a goal for 1 thing, and then ignores the big picture surrounding him until there becomes an issue revolving around it. For example, his economy could be 5x the size at this point if he focused less on pushing individual industries and micro managing prices, as growing the industrial economy as a whole will drive resource prices up, which will make resource industries more profitable and fund more resource extraction. Right now, he has done so little industrialization and has so many job seekers that it is just driving down his economy and creating radicals. Vicky 3 is a big picture game. Small goals are fine, but you can't let them block the greater picture.
