What did they expect? You gave cops the advantage of shooting with automatics from the car. People thought the server was in a bad spot before this, just wait and see how bad it's going to get. Cops can now end any chase/encounter the moment they want, without stepping out of their cars. It's game over for criminals, it's not even debatable.

The question should be why is a cop brandishing their weapon to gang members? That gives cg and any other person in the server the right to pull theirs out in defense. Curtis asking what they'd do if he got out of his car and shoot at them doesn't mean cops open fire on a car from inside their car. I know there a lot of people that watch this shit with low iq and can't comprehend absolutely anything.

So, a person woke up after 2+ IRL months off of the server, so they were a little out of it, Then they were called in and reported for drugs. They had an organ on them (they logged on with it.) then they raided the house owner (had a warrant for the human organs and the used needles.) then they found tons of ID's. Wrangler locked down several properties without a warrant and without notifying the person 72+ IRL hours ahead of it (this is a OOC rule and a Law) then he started pumping out search warrants. Some were signed by judges who said it was not their job to read a warrant but most were denied by crane on the grounds of not enough evidence to raid. Wrangler still raided places, including civilian (non-criminal) properties with the argument of "they had keys / gave keys, so it's their fault." then this resulted in Mr. K getting arrested for murder, then there was no judges on so Mr, K was stuck in jail over night. So he green-lit all cops. All the gangs gathered together because they were all victims of Wrangler ignoring the law and still raiding. so, the entire servers gang went full hard core against all cops. Until admins put an end to it "making the server unplayable for cops" Penta was banned for a short time and removed from police, but was quickly re-hired and continued.

So apparently jaylen pointed a gun, to me it’s a sticky one cuz the officer had reason to believe his life was threatened/was about to be harmed, so it’s not like he didn’t have zero reason to shoot. But, even with your life being threatened I feel like a cop has to wait for the first shot to be fired from the crim side cuz it’s the argument you’re stopping a crime before it even happens and the other argument against the cop is that if brandishing a gun is all that’s needed to gun you down then anyone who has a gun on their person has to be gunned down immediately all cuz they have it.

This is why I kinda only watch Tony/AnthonyZ's Red Dead Redemption RP now... Seem's like Gta Rp is becoming toxic and boring, but with Red Dead everyone is welcoming and friendly. AnthonyZ, Ssaab, buddha, and Blaustoise all have had great stream's meeting many new people in Red Dead with no drama... The only time I see clips in Red Dead is when something awesome happens, like when AnthonyZ made a girl cry because his fans Subbed so much and she said they basically paid for a month of living for her 😂 I wish more communities would try to help and support each other like that rather than pointing fingers or getting angry over small incidents. 🙏

CG don't know this but the cops (high command specifically) recieved a tip yesterday that a mag dump season might be happening soon. As for why the cops did as they did I don't know because i haven't scene their perspective but I would guess that Dan may have thought this was going to be the start of said magdump season Curtis did outright give him that impression by saying he'd spray them down.
