Weirdest thing I saw in 12 years in the Army. Had a repeat AWOL offender that we were trying to kick out. Some SSG shows up because our AWOL kid supposedly stole one of his guys motorcycle. We search his room for whatever reason and the bike is propped up in the closet... on the 3rd floor of the barracks.

There was one time at Fort Drum (need I say more than that?) in 2013 if memory serves correctly, that hurricane hit the northeast, and we had 90 mph winds and a few guys decided that we needed to commence airborne training, by tying 4 poncho liners together, wrap a 550 cord around the waist of a new pfc, tell him to jump in the air, and proceed to try to soften his fall with a dirty matress, only to be stopped by division SGM who said that is funny as f**k but we need to stop.
