9:00 Linfamy just recently did a long format video on the topic, and to sum it up: no, it wasn't a typhoon that did in either of the two Mongol invasions, the samurai were actually pretty badass, and actually quite similar in their strengths to mongols, being heavier armored cavalry archers. But also, the mongol invasion consisted mostly of infantry conscripted from the recently subjugated Korea and China, because you physically can't transport a sizable mostly cavalry force over the ocean with 13th century tech.
The "Hirohito had no power" argument has a whiff of the "Clean Wehrmacht" argument... "We won, we kicked their asses, and we all know they were definitely the bad guys, but we need to make sure there's SOMEBODY in a position of power to help us sort out the aftermath, so we can't demonize everyone who was involved. Let's just say the other guys did all the fucked up stuff and our guys didn't want to, but couldn't stop it from happening."
QuickSink works on a very simple concept. It displaces the water underneath the ship. The shock of the concussion will severely damage the vessel but when the "void" collapses this is much greater force. Just think about a hole opening up in the water and sucking the boat down underwater... if it doesn't fit, just break their back, they'll fit.
I love how the fat guy's argument is just "Yeah i think he did this cause he was the head of the country 🙃" My brother in christ, do you think that Queen elizabeth personally ordered the british government during ww2 ? Like are we forgetting what symbolic figureheads are ?
Nah. Tamerlane (Timur the Lame) accidentally destroyed the Golden Horde on his way to conquer the Ottomans' in Turkey and that created a power vacuum the Muscovites filled.
The sticking point of this argument seems to be the difference between hard political/military power and soft cultural/ spiritual power. Hirihito had tons of the latter and little of the former.
CBRNE here. We would run people through the chamber usually once a week. Then, in the last group through, we would usually ask any of them (while they were absolutely draining all over the ground) if they wanted to join us in a push-up competition with no mask and no gear inside the chamber. Very rarely did we have anybody join us, but it was ritual.
How did I miss you guys hosting the biggest CIA shill next to Task n Purpose? Ryan used to be cool but slowly his Russia Bad/Ukraine Good and anyone being anti-globalist-permanent-war-administrative-state became a foreign or domestic traitor. All while raking in the big bucks. I hope you guys handed it to him. I'm afraid I'll be disappointed though.
Basic training, we had a private who would hold his breath during his pt pushup test. He would manage maybe 5 before he passed out. The drill sergeant would yell next to his face to breathe. He could do normal push-ups just fine but did it every test.
People forget the soviet's did t attack Manchuria until after emperor Hirohito ordered Japanese forces to lay down arms and surrender over a radio message broadcast all over Japan and their conquered territory. I guess the soviet's hadn't forgotten about the Russo-Japanese war after all ,🤔🤔
Let's not forget a democrat named Truman pardoned the leader of unit 731 ( the biological warfare unit ). And made him a U.S. Citizen had paid him for the research he gathered torturing American pow's during the war
It's not just white cops, it's all cops and it's because the shitbags are protected by the "good ones" meaning there are no good ones. Sorry if that's a harsh truth, but until police start actually policing themselves, they'll be viewed by the general population as an enemy of the people. At this point, the police are gangbangers with government funding and that needs to change. Earn the respect like you earned the hate.
My buddy did one before he joined as a benchmark for his performance both mentally and physically. He didn't do a 3 day one, it was a full 2 weeks. He was a SEAL for one enlistment and then left because he really didn't like the internal politics of the military.
Years ago, the RU-vid channel crash course had a series on world history. There was an ongoing meme of "except the mongols". Such and such never happens except the mongols. Can't remember what the exceptions were, I just remember the meme.
Cody's disconnect here could be that he's so authentic inherently that he can't not see reality for exactly what it is. Also, he's just asking his friends genuine questions which is why they're answering him and not shitting on him like a bunch of fucking children.
The guy next to the Fat Electrician. The one who shouts when he talks. He has to make sure people hear this silent internal thoughts. You guys should not give alcohol to people that take Ritalin
Look up the Bonus Army and see who was given direct orders and executed the eviction of the Bonus Army from Washington DC. He has never been a supporter of his troops and only cares about his own career.
Ryan is a shill for Ukraine, he opposes any view that conflicts with his own. Russian bots....he is a Ukraine bot. Hr was one of the morons who when the war started kept stating the Russian were running out of equipment and about to collapse at any moment.
Rome likely never salted Carthage. No evidence of it actually happening and it wasn’t documented that the Romans did it until centuries later. Homer actually wrote about that land being salted hundreds of years before the Punic wars. It definitely sounds like something Rome would have done to Hannibal’s people but unlikely to be true.
Can AI boys be censored ? Free speech applies to living human US citizens. Does fre apeech peotection extend to AI and algorithms? Those are tools. Not people. Theu dont have rights.
