That Mercedes let me mouth agape the whole time. How did the engine not enter the cabin? How is the rest of that car still so intact? The sheer force of that crash and not even another piece of broken glass? You're right, any passengers had to have walked away from that relatively unscathed. The Commander always was a good jeep. Our work one had 271k and counting when we sold our company. Along with the Liberty's these eat up balljoints (the design of the front end was flawed on KJ's and this design). Looking back at the Carfax of the one we owned at our company, it still is running strong with 310k on it at last oil change. We only put in 2 sets of ball joints, oil added every-so-often between changes, and believe it or not, for it being a 2006, it only had one battery replacement. Those Commanders are TANKS and hold their value well. Easy to wrench on too.

I would take that Ford Taurus and add a little more gas to it and another match to finish the job. You would never get the bernt smell out of the car. It would be a total gut job on the inside. The other issue is what has the forklift damaged due to it being right on the ground??

A friend had a BMW exactly like this one: He sold it with over 420000km which is about 300000 miles. In all the years he owned it h never had do do anything but the normal maintenance and it was still running like new. I bet the new owner will ad another 100000 km to it. The Ford might be worth a shot: She may not be a beauty but a spacious vehicle for someone with a limited budget.

if your car wont start a great tip is to use contact spray it works we own a Chrysler Grand Voyager from 2009 some times we have starting issues

Randy you're correct that Volkswagen 1.9 diesel engine is bulletproof the same engine is used in Golf's and Audi A4s. I've seen them with over 400,000 miles on them.

That Mercedes SUV, even with that amount of catastrophic damage the door clicked closed. That - is impressive engineering.

The Nava the black wire coming out from under dash is buy here pay here places that had a shut off... And sometimes if there's no oil on dip stick is because it sat for a long time and it was low on oil when they parked it..

The Jeep Commander is a little suspect because of the no coolant and the brand new starter but it is marked as a no run. I would venture to guess the motor is locked up. Have you ever tried grabbing the belt to make sure the engine moves on a no start vehicle?

I don't like a couple parts of the equation for that jeep one being empty coolant another being what looks like a brand new starter seen that when you were peeking underneath and the fact you say it does have a good battery and only clicks when you turn it possibly seized engine? I'd say a no go on that one

Randy you seem to overlook Toyota RAV4 there is a nice white 2000-2005 rav there. So long as it’s 03-05 your good to go.

In September 2005 I bought a 2001 Jetta for my stepdaughter when she got her license. Over the next 11 years she drove it all over the country, and it just kept going and going. It finally died about a year and a half ago with over 250,000 miles. The one drawback was that parts were getting harder and harder to find.

I can agree that cds vehicles are usually trade ins that they won't sell because my dad had an 03 navigator almost exactly like the one in the video except a different color interior that he traded in for Malibu, and my dad said that there is no way it's going on the lot because the navigator was falling apart and the transmission was going out

on that GLC u can see a bit of the speedometer froze, so a 160MPH gauge(80 wen needle points straight up), and judging by the needle position, took a hit at 60-65 mph daaaaaaaamn

The Ford Taurus would be a nice project. The Chrysler 200 with the high front hit will be easy to fix, there must be some profit in that one.

Those older Fords with a trip that says 0 scares me but the interior does look to be in good shape and does lead me to believe the 79 thousand but who knows if its adding miles.

I feel like that red Jeep commander is missing the cooling fan. I'm not sure tho let me Kno if I'm wrong.

The 1.9 TDI with a manual is one of best diesel engines ever, so is the Mercedes OM605 and 606, and the BMW M57. I don't know if cars with these engines were sold in the US market, but if you find them in good condition, be sure to check them out.
