We have a few of those Sonic's at our hospital as lab courier vehicles. They're all "bent" like that. Just FYI. Love that interior too.

Awww man the 240d brought back memories i used to have an 82 240d a i loved it wished i had another one but ive got enough projects i own an 87 s10 blazer and 86 full size dodge van im close to having my blazer on the road my van runs and drives but its not ready for the road yet but theyre works in progress both with sentimental ties but oh id like to add a merc as well

That part in the back of the red 150 is a air brake actuator (brake can). Basically a diaphragm with a large compressed spring inside it. Kind of a dangerous thing to be messing with. Looks like a big truck or bus didn't stop in time.

The Sonic, on the area in question, look at the plastic splash guard. It has the same bend and form to it. It fits right in the "bent" area in question

The van was in a shed fire just like the Hellcat was.... that's a commercial van... it was in a business fire. The Red Chevrolet that was rear ended had a 30/30 air brake chamber for a commercial truck in it

That white 2500 van said CNG "clean natural gas" powered on it so it probably has a conversion kit on it and something went wrong with wiring or piping in the rear. I see garbage trucks, semis, dump trucks that have caught fire from having CNG power.

Maybe those 2 burnt work vans were part of a fleet of electrical vans that burnt when the garage they were stored in caught fire, which would explain why the first crispy is crushed, the roof of the building probably collapsed. The second van was probably next to the building when it burnt

that 2012 dodge dually was a diesel run on where the engine took off until it blew up and caught on fire

The Lexus at 16 min was on, the motor may not start for a min or so if not being driven and sitting at rest like when you tried it. We have an rx450h and that's what ours does.

I bought my first car today and picked it up from there today a white Ford Taurus listed as a no start but I drove it all the way to Moore no problem

That Chevy van caught fire by the gas tank, common problem with those vans. On Facebook this morning another one was posted burning from the underside.

On the sonic you could see the splash guard is made that way, it's made that way to allow clearance for the wheel to go full lock

I'd save that old 200 series Merc. Worst case is it's going to need a new interior in addition to glass. Maybe not even that if you remove and clean the seats and carpets. No clear coat on paint that old - hit it with the polisher and it should come up nice. Those diesels go on forever. And you can run them on used cooking oil if you're after the full off-grid experience! Some of the carnage is just terrifying. It might seem counterintuitive, but big trucks are notorious for poor crash performance. Watch some test videos and you'll see. All too often they fold in half and the cab ends up full of bed and engine. Aluminum bodywork can't be good for strength either, when it melts like plastic in a fire. Of course the best way to survive a crash is not to have one. Drive safely people :(

“The whole truck just melted” It’s A Ford. Made from aluminum, it melts at a much lower temperature than steel.

The thing in the back of the red F150 was a heavy truck air brake chamber. Probably a type 30. And likely what hit the ford.

The red F-150 had an air brake can on the back [ Tim picked it up]. Supplies brake power to one wheel on tractor/trailer-dump truck. Maxi-can, I believe it's called.

3:21 ,the rad support is bent up,looks like the front of the chassis leg is bent. A tape measure is a handy tool for quickly checking ,just measure across the front wheels. a bent rail will show up as too much toe in or toe out on an otherwise straight rail.

Looks like they made chevy sonic like that so they could turn the tire to the left. Looks very fix able.

I think theZ4 would be great for you if you started to go to Hairdressing School. The Chevy Van (Wiring Solutions) is powered by CNG. Maybe it lit up while filling or a CNG plumbing leak.

30:15 That van was in a House or building fire. I even saw a piece or burned wood inside of it. That's why the keys are present and accounted for.

The F150 melted because it is all aluminum. The van only needs a good buff and polish. The thing in the back of the red pickup is a brake actuator for air brakes on a large truck.

If you ever see any 90 eldorados could ya do a quick walk around one for us to see, there's literally none in our area anywhere

As far as the VW's go, just look at the tachometer. If it's a 1.8T, then it'll say turbo on the back lid if it's an original car. The 2.0L and the 1.8T engines will have the same 6k+ redline. The TDI's will have a lower redline on the tachometer. The absence of a turbo badge, and those wheels tells me that it was a 2.0L car. If it was a TDI car, then I would've bought it. Those cars are very repairable, and sell pretty quickly.
