On the F150...Check your crank position sensor wiring. Runs near the right hand valve cover...may be rubbed through and causing the intermittent no start. Sensor should be ok they rarely fail.

The Camaro is probably dead because of that Repro tracking device. Car was probably triggered inert by the bank. Remove that and it'll probably be fine.

Randy watch out with those Wranglers, I'm a insurance adjuster and weirdly they don't take front end hits too well. I've seen too many with messed up frames after a front end hit, that and the engine mounts seem to fail. Love the vids please don't stop lol

13:55 Weird that the side of the dashboard is open... Could allude to some electrical issues and someone being unable to fix it. Therefore they put it back through the auction. I would take another look at it if I were you, because it could be expensive to fix.

Just a standard E500 with an added AMG badge and rims. The 2006 E55 AMG has AMG-specific bumpers, fog lights, exhaust, rims and interior as well as an AMG naturally aspirated hand-built engine with the technician’s signature on the cover. Definitely interested in why this E500 has been there for so long with such minimal damage; potentially significant engine issues. Thanks for awesome content as always, Randy! My old man bought a mint used example of one of those W211 E500s in 2013. It was awesome to drive when it worked, that V8 is a wonderful motor, but it went through a transmission, an SBC pump (electronic brakes), rear air shocks and a computer between 80k-110k miles before it was T-boned. I remember electrical quirks were rampant too. He is a professional mechanic of 30+ years and even he found it a pain to maintain. Great car when it wanted to work but I would not touch one in that condition unless you're looking for a headache. Fact that it's been passed on so many times gives a good indication. It's a parts car at best.

I owned 2 pontiac's & I absolutely loved them! My brother had a 77 firebird 301-ran smooth! 1 quart trans fluid mixed w/oil. I had a 92 Grand Am S.E.-3.3ltr (my baby) & 95 all black G.T. 2.4 ltr manual trans & 1st- & 3rd gear SCREAMED! ONCE, (on thanksgiving) I ripped 1st, 2nd, & just hit 3rd & let off, & THERE WAS A COP! WAS CLOCKED OVER 100MPH.The main reason I bought that car is because I raced an Eclipse turbo & won! The Eclipse was on the interstate, I was ripping threw the gears getting up to speed as I heard him spool up the turbo, I was surprised when I won!!! Though, my favorite was the teal 92 Grand Am S.E .3.3 wasn't as fast but, I decked it out!

I didn't know the 3.6 was a caddy engine. Surprised we exported a V6 to the USA. We also have the 3.0 which is gutless. Looks like the that G8 is just a Commodore International spec. My brother had one as a wagon but had the 3.0.

In the camaro the antena in de windshield is not a GPS TRAKER, its the aftermarket alarm. I have the same alarm in my busines car.

Yeah randy someone mentioned below. A Pontiac vibe is a rebadged Toyota Matrix. I think the vibe looks way better than a matrix. I rented one years ago. Pretty good driving lil car

Right now only car I liked was the Pontiac G8 though I’d need to know how it runs first most seem to go at least $9,000 - $8,000 but you said base asking price was about $4,500 with fees guessing it could go up to $5,000 with all the dings it might not go for that $9,000 or even the $8,000 so don’t know if it would be worth it

4 door wranglers are a hot item....someone will absolutely repair it. I don't even care for Mercedes, but the black e500 is damn nice looking. Great content to roll the dice on it.

Did you check the Crank Position Sensor or the Fuel Pump. These Fords and Jeeps are notorious for this.

I'm just curious. *Are you allowed to bring a jump starter or power bank with you at those (Copart) auction viewing days?* Because if you are it would be a good idea. Of course, check the fluids first, check if nothing is hitting the engine bay (maybe damage courses rotating parts to hit something). I wouldn't spend more than a $1000 on a car that doesn't even crack. Or it has to have loads of good parts on it. And yeah. Buy an old Corvette, an c4 or c5 with the V8. Love those!

truck sounds like it might have air leak in the fuel line, and is when you shut it off the fuel is draining back into the tank, so the lines are completely empty when you tried it here.

Randy, That is not a GPS Tracking Device on the Camaro. That is the Viper remote start antenna. Have it in all my cars after I put in remote start.

I was thinking about bidding on that Vibe, we have 3 right now but I think it was a mechanical donation car. Usually great cars. The GT has the 2.4L Camry drivetrain and would be worth $5k running if it has like 120k miles. I kinda figured you might look at it!

Hey AutoAuction, have you heard about the 2000'S chevy trucks that have a no start security feature? I guess if you don't lock the doors and then come back to start the truck, it won't start? It prevents you from starting the truck for 30 minutes. Happened to me before.
