Love this! I had a patient this weekend with copd, rhf, on 4l of o2, wheezing heard from a distance. Asked me if she could have a cigarette. We talked for a good while about quitting, her thoughts on it, resources she can use. Told her about deep breathing techniques and using the incentive spirometer. In the end, I don't think she will do any of it even tho she was very interested in the material, but all I can do is teach and offer help.

In our lecture, we were told that the definition of COPD does not include chronic bronchitis and emphysema anymore. Rather they are now viewed as sub-types of COPD
