WEEKEND TRIP LIKE NO OTHER !!
Join us on our latest trip to the city of Copenhagen, Denmark! I have been to Denmark many times years ago, mainly for football tours, however I always loved the country and this trip back has made me realise exactly why! They say Scandinavia is one of, if not the happiest place to live on earth and I can see why. Such a beautiful place with amazingly friendly people.
While we were there we couldn't miss out on our theme park fix, so we went to the famous Tivoli theme park, and wow, it smashed all of our expectations! Click the like button if you liked this video!

Bakken in Klampenborg, North of Copenhagen is the oldest amusement park in the world, followed by Pratter in Vienna, Austria, and THEN Tivoli comes in on a third place. And yeah ... Walt Disney visited Tivoli several times before founding Disney land!

By the way, Ryan Air wanted to make a Hub in Copenhagen, but by paying low Irish wages. The Danish Unions didn't quite liked that, so they declared a strike and blocked all handling! I think it was a first for Ryan Air being met by strong Unions. They still flies from Copenhagen, but now under normal conditions, like any other Airline. Finn. Denmark

@@SPARKESLIFEI don't live in Copenhagen, but from various logs from Copenhagen, the "pølsebod" at the round tower seems to be the most recommended. And make sure to ask for the right one - a "ristet hotdog med det hele" (roasted hotdog with everything). For burger, there's no doubt - the world famous Gasoline Grill. For exclusive restaurants, there are quite a few. Noma - worlds best restaurant, Kong Hans, Alchemist etc. Very expensive, but voted to be some of the very best in the world.

I live in copenhagen. Any small hotdog vans in the center. Allans Polser and Mias Polser are very nice

I suffer from fear of heights, but a friend convinced me to go with him on that high carousel. Huge mistake, i got a major anxiety attack, which did not go unnoticed by the other people on the ride, let's just leave at that, lol. I should have known better 🤷. Great video 👍

D.Ø.P Hotdogs by the round tower, with remulade, fried onions and a spicy sausage and maybe traditionel danish ryebread lunch, 5-6 pcs starting with 2-3 dif. herring and snaps/akvavit of course and some pork dishes topping of with risalamande or cheeses. enjoy😊

The last seat in the old rollercoaster is the best! Because the weight of the train pulls it down to the highest speed! The white topped mountain has rather newly being rebuilt, as it was blown up during the war by the Germans.

@@SPARKESLIFE The best way to reach this seat is to go forward till you reach the end of the waiting area, as a possible number two in the row. When the next train arrives, the person in front, along the track, will select a seat to his or her liking, and then - You moves forward as number one, to be able to select "the best seat", in the next train!! (Don't tell this Secret to others!!). If the seat isn't free in the next train, you just wait till it is! 😁When you have passed the Entrance Control, no one cares!

Have you been to others cities? I can recommend, Roskilde, just 1H out of CPH or Odense on Fyn, or Aarhus in Jutland- where you among other things, you can visit Den Gamle By, a beautiful open air museum.

Tivoli Garddns (its official full name), is not the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world. It is the 3rd oldest. The oldest is also located in Copenhagen … or rather at Klampenborg … a few miles north of Copenhagen. Wurtselprater i Austria is the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world. And you actually pronounce it wrong. You say TiVOli. It is actually TIvoli. Emphasis on TI … I liked watching your video. Glad you enjoyed your little trip.
