Okay I'm making homemade granola this weekend. Thank you for the recipe! I also can relate to the language struggle. As an American in Portugal it is easy to fall back on English but I really am trying to learn the language. It is hard but without speaking the language life can be isolating and strange. Sometimes it's also nice because you don't need to worry or soak up any other conversations around you. Tis the season for relaxing and slowing down. I'm all in!

All my friends were exchange students, so I’ve been speaking only English, same with I met my portuguese boyfriend that I met like a month after. Now I’ve been living here since then, I work from home in an international team, so I speak English at work, with my boyfriend at home, and I’m so afraid of speaking Portuguese!!😩 I know it very well by now, I can read and understand everything said to be, but I avoid speaking soo much and I always felt so bad about it, but now I know I’m not alone in it🫶🏻 I really hope we find more courage to practice and I’m proud of you and for living and thriving in a foreign country🩷 Lots of love to you Birta, you’re doing a good job!

I am Brazilian, I live in Brazil nowadays, so I speak mainly Portuguese. But I speak fluent English since I was 11. I did highschool in England so all my social media, studies, computer, cellphone are set in English. So I don’t loose practice on the language, you can easily forget!
