Please don't 💔 my 30yr old son hung himself last week and I'm devastated.. people you don't even know care about you , find someone to talk to or I will if you need , but please don't end it. It's a permanent solution to a temporary feeling

@DallasPeck,My daughter died in September 20 2022 from a drug overdose, she was 25 years old.I know what are you going through. Its devastating, but we have to keep going always having in mind, that this pain will never go away.I will mention God here, and I apologize, if your not a believer ,I don't want to offend you. But He has been my rock in this horrible nightmare. Your daughter will always be there,as long you remember her.she will in your memories and in your heart forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. Grief is love with nowhere to go. It's amazing the bond that God has for us with our children. Please lean on the Lord. I too lost a son, he was 18 it's only been a year and I think about him every single day. I will be praying for you and your family.

I lost my doughter by suicide at age 11. She was bulled at school and had some sexuality identity problems. We were at terapy even she took pills for depression. Noone knew what she was thinking, she was closed. But I will say it laudly there are many cases the can be helped! We all have to educate about mental health especially how kids go on difficult time, their depression looks differenty. Lord will help to go through this but we have to do the work as well. God bless everyone who saffer of loss!

I lost my daughter (13) to suicide in June of this year. Many parallels in our situations--she was bullied, had identity problems, and we were seeking treatment. She hid a lot from us. We really thought she was doing okay. As part of my self-therapy, I've started creating videos and discussing my journey with grief. So very sorry for your terrible loss. Sending peace and love to you and your family.

most people cannot afford a therapist. involve them in home endeavor. ie gardening, cooking.. always focused how they lived not how they died.... Love this club that nobody wants to belong to.. see 4 then there was 3 blog.

You don't have to lose your life, regardless of your family's understanding of what you are going through. Could you consider talking to people outside of your family? Just because your family doesn't help doesn't mean they don't care. Maybe they don't know how to help. You should seek the help you need beyond your family....do it for yourself. You are valuable and you matter. Praying you choose to live.

Sorry, but the same useless advice. See a therapist, talk to someone. LOL. First of all there aren't enough therapists in the world to even cover the amount of therapy needed just in one U.S. city let alone a state or country. Even if you are lucky enough to find a therapist then it moves to the next challenge. Does the therapist have any openings in their practice ? Then the next challenge. Does this therapist accept my health insurance ? And if that hurdle is overcome for people like me it is near impossible to travel to a therapist so they would have to allow for remote therapy. I was trying for over 4 years. Now I just gave up.

How weak your understanding of complex grief is! By failing to grasp the fundamentals - and I’ll enlighten you here (but you’ll probably still remain ignorant), losing a child to suicide is profoundly traumatising. The psychological impact on your mental and physical health can be so devastating that without therapy or counselling your quality of life is seriously compromised. I have my faith but I would never disrespect anyone as to shove it down their throat. Not only are you ignorant but you are offensive - you manage to trivialise my son’s death and insult people whose God is different to yours. Jesus is not a grief counsellor or therapist.

@@emmacoombes1542 , I responded to this man’s own question in the video, ‘How do find meaning and joy in this world when I am dealing with the loss of family members’? (3:05) What I wrote was truth. The Word of God calls Jesus, Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6). And also states that we’ll find Him when we search for Him with all of our hearts. (Jeremiah 29:13) Jesus said… Come to me, all you that labor and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 And… Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 I do know Jesus. I have experienced and known the comfort and peace that only He can bring to the soul through mourning, and every trial and sorrow life may bring. And HE is the ONLY hope this world has. Jesus IS the only answer 💟 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Yeahyou really thinkthat a distraught and grieving parent WHO DOES’T SHARE YOUR FAITH is wrong and you in your infinite wisdom is correct? Tell them exactly how they go about it. It seems to me you have nothing but blind faith, offer nothing but a sound bite, and need to educate yourself on the psychology of complex grief. Ignorance is no excuse. Get educated - because ignorance is very different to an understanding of truth faith. If you have the mental stamina - chat to a Jesuit priest - but I think it’s concepts you’ll struggle with. I’m happy you are comforted by your faith, but the church needs properly qualified people here - and that isn’t you.
